Jedi Knight Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 When would be the soonest Yamato could acquire the Mac7 license? Could it be as early as 2007? Quote
Mog Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 40 or 50 cm tall will be nice already especially 50 (half a meter) Nah, I'd still like it to be bigger than 2 feet. I want the Macross in Attacker-mode to appear "bigger" than the 1/48 Valks. Remember, the main guns are pretty long. So even at 50 cm (from feet to guns), the Macross is gonna appear "shorter" than the big-bad Valks. .....Unless we're talking about displaying it with the 1/60 VF-1's. Then, I won't argue. But still, the Macross, being the namesake of the series, being the flagship and all, and being so central to the story should stand out as the biggest piece in any person's Macross display collection. Graham Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 My sig does not refer to the Wave SDF-1, that was a surprise to me as well and came right under the radar. Hint, my sig may or may not refer to a Yamato product through! Graham...............screwing with your heads since 1999! Quote

ruskiiVFaussie Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 So what other company has Macross on their agenda? Quote
MechTech Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 This is posted in the toys section, so at least I know(???) its not a model. At least that's some money I'm saving! - MT Quote

Nani?! Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 This is posted in the toys section, so at least I know(???) its not a model. At least that's some money I'm saving! - MT I know it's not a model because he is the TOY man of MW and he also didn't even know about the Wave SDF-1 coming out before someone here posted about it... I believe anything he knows about in advance (prior to any official announcement) is probably related to toys... hence it's a toy(s)... more specifically with where his allegiance lies, YAMATO. So it's a YAMATO TOY(s). I also think his hint about it possibly being a toy from a different company is rubbish... Unless he's made some connections with some other manufacturer, which since it can possibly have yamato miffed, the chances of that, I think, are pretty slim.. The most telling quote from Graham's post is the following: Graham...............screwing with your heads since 1999! Yeah, thanks a lot Grahammister~ acting like you're giving us a hint when it's just another screw in the head~ haha Quote
myk Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 We should just drop it, we're only making it worse on ourselves... Quote
Nani?! Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 (edited) We should just drop it, we're only making it worse on ourselves... BEST comment yet this thread. It's pointless really... Honestly, Graham is awesome for providing scans every month, relaying our concerns over to yamato, providing this area where we can talk about the common passion we have in Macross, but as far as advanced info goes, we get what the mags release. Spy prototype shots actually come from the very nice members who take shots at conventions and stores, not from graham... Anyone with an imagination can figure out more about yamato's future plans than relying on the info graham is allowed to give us... "2007_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ !" uhhhhh............................................................................................. #$%$^@#$%@#$!~!!! soo..... 2007 WHAT?? Give us a bloody letter or two! Like we didn't know shiet will come out next year... Shiet comes out EVERY fricken year... and just as predictable (and funny) as that fact is how and when they allow Graham to reveal all this shiet... DRUMROLL~~~~~~~~~~ w/ Mags scans all of japan already looked at for a day or two... I mean at least let the bloke release some high res images the mags are using... instead they restrain him to the point where he's playing hang man with us (but without letters!) yipeee! Sumdumgai Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Well the SV-51 has kind of a screw shaped head. Same with the VF-4. And the YF-21. Quote

Bob_Coffee Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 1999... wait i smell something... hrm wasnt that the year the macross plus valks were supposed to come out here, or they were taking pre-orders for them? Quote
vlenhoff Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 If the 19 is being released, I don't see a reason why a 21 and 11B should follow. We may even see the less popular 1D, Elint and Ostrich. Right? Nay? G is rightfully a tease because he has to. I'm happy for him. Why damage or change a good thing? Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 I wouldn't regard the/any of the '2' seaters as less popular that's for sure. To be honest i'd take the Ostrich over the YF-21 in a second. We all know the 21 is coming. Quote

Hint, my sig may or may not refer to a Yamato product through! Graham...............screwing with your heads since 1999! Hmmm. Part of me thinks the whole "may or may not refer to a Yamato product" is your attempt to put us off the trail, but the other part thinks what's the point. Even if someone guesses it, we won't know until it's announced. Having said that and taking what you said in account my guess is..... Soul_of_Chogokin_VF-1 So what do I win? Quote

UN Spacy Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Anyway, I only have space for Macross in my house now, especially with all the cool stuff scheduled for release over the next few years. Graham Quoted from the Garland thread. Now if THAT doesn't get you excited you need another shot of Yoshinol. Quote
Dante74 Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 The thing I like most about Graham's post is the statement that it's gonna take a couple of years to get everthing released. I have a hard time keeping up as it is. Quote
kensei Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Well, at least it's chockers full. Could be worse, remember everyone saying that awhile ago that: "Macross is dead! Macross is dead!" Hah. Quote
