mechaninac Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 What's so special about a plane full of zombies that it would warrant a movie?... Have you been in a flight lately? From the TSA screeners to the flight attendants, they are all mindless undead. Quote
Mr March Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 *snore* I've about had my fill of these movies for a while. I know "28 Days Later" was a renaissance for the zombie movie, but after the "Dawn of the Dead" remake (good) and Romero's own "Land of the Dead" (not so good), I think it's time to move on to other fare cause the genre is dying...again Quote
azrael Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 Who let all these mother f*ckin zombies on the mother f*ckin plane? Quote
Noriko Takaya Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 The only thing missing from the films credits is Uwe Boll's name. This sounds exactly like something he would do. Quote
Greyryder Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 The only thing missing from the films credits is Uwe Boll's name. This sounds exactly like something he would do. Nah, this isn't based on a video game, with major plot differences. Quote
Morpheus Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Dead Plane would be more suitable, make the plane undead and taking its passenger on an express to hell . Enough with human zombies already. Quote
baronv Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 That trailer was super annoying, they cut to a new scene every two seconds. Made me want to barf with all the perspective changes. I'd probably barf if I saw this junk of a movie as well. Quote
dizman Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 According to the trailer... Gov't designs a new bio weapon that they decide to send on a civilian airliner...yadayada.... storm happens and the virus and some other things escape.... Zombies attack passengers, big suprise..... some guys with guns start shooting the zombies..... Gov't decides plane is too dangerous to land and send a jet to destroy it....... it crash lands and zombies escape and the world ends! You just saw the movie through the trailer . Quote
JsARCLIGHT Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 It's sad to say but good zombie movies are few and far between. For every Dawn (original 70's version) of the Dead there are ten to twenty forgettable zombie movies. This is one of the latter. Quote
drifand Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 28 Days Later was good until 'stupid dad got the dirty eye-drop'... I liked SHAUN OF THE DEAD best... can't beat 'Harry Potter's disembowelment'. Quote
Skull Leader Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 *sighs at yet another lame-ass movie idea* ... I'm really starting to hate this world... Quote
aaajin Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 so...anyone wants to guess what's coming next ? Quote
Keith Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 There was a greater purpose to the zombie movie revival. and that was Shaun of the Dead. Now that we have that, there's no point to further beating the bush. Quote
wolfx Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 so...anyone wants to guess what's coming next ? Home Alone 5 with Mike Tyson....... Quote

Now that we have that, there's no point to further beating the bush. I didn't quite get that show. Brit humour is lost on me. I say bring back Armies of Darkness or Evil Dead with Arnie at the helm. KingNor Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Sean of the Dead was plenty for me. This is clearly trying to cash in on snakes on a plane. Kill it with fire. Quote
Morpheus Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 so...anyone wants to guess what's coming next ? First snake on a plane, now we have zombies on a plane, next we have (insert here) on a plane . Quote
Final Vegeta Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 so...anyone wants to guess what's coming next ? Aliens on a plane? FV Quote
wolfx Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Aliens on a plane? FV Predators on a plane. *clicking pred noise* Quote
Raptor Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 You're thinking the wrong way... the next one will be... SNAKES IN A BOX! Look out, Leon! Quote
Sumdumgai Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 or "Solid Snake in a Box on a Plane... Full of Zombie Snakes and People" Quote
mechaninac Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 or "Solid Snake in a Box on a Plane... Full of Zombie Snakes and People" We have a winner!... The next movie should be about, and called, Zombie Snakes on a Plane. Quote
Ghadrack Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 I thought since they tried to trump snakes ona plane with snakes on a train, then zombies on a plane would get zombies on a train. Speaking of "On a train" anyone here see the old Christopher Lamber movie "The Hunted"? man, ninjas on a train was sweet! Quote
aaajin Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 hell if they want to achieve the effect that when the audience get out of the theater feeling paranoid of everything around them ("the distant fear is near", which is generally the themefor these kind of movies), they should be making movies called "snakes at home", "snakes at the office"....or maybe "snakes in the zoo" wouldnt sound too bad either...then itll just be a 2 hours of watching animal planet... Quote

Make a movie called snakes in the cinema and have rubber snakes drop from the ceiling halfway through the movie! Be great to see the audience reaction. Graham Quote
Radd Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Yanno, I expected Snakes on a Plane would spawn a horde of studios trying to immitate by playing up the same B-movie cheese...but I didn't expect the immitators to be lacking in imagination quite so much. Congrats, Hollywood, you've reached a new low! Quote
mechaninac Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 ... Congrats, Hollywood, you've reached a new low! Everytime you think that they've reached the bottom of the barrel, Hollywood prooves that if you lift the barrel... Quote
Dangaioh Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Here is a new title... Raiden's Snake Zombied Metal Gear box in a plane. Quote
