Hayao Kakizaki Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 when I saw the sticker design come with the angel bird, very disapoint me,and without a emblem also....see: I like the Hasegawa's design most, so I made it for 1/48: Quote
Hayao Kakizaki Posted October 6, 2006 Author Posted October 6, 2006 then complete my 1/48 angel bird: Quote
mister_e Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Very well done. I like the Hasegawa markings better also. I really envy you guys who sticker/decal up your 1/48's. I just can't bring myself to do it for fear of messing up. Again, nice job Quote
Fly4victory Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Excellent job. Yes, the Hasegawa markings look so much better. What type of printer do you use? Quote

Hiriyu Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 Are you going to make these decals available to the rest of us? I have an Angel Bird on order, and would like the option of correct decals Quote

Golden Arms Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 Excellent work. Is the Hasegawa marking supposed to go on the gunpod as well. Quote
Hayao Kakizaki Posted October 7, 2006 Author Posted October 7, 2006 Excellent work. Is the Hasegawa marking supposed to go on the gunpod as well. The H's model not supposed to used the gunpod. so no decal for it. but I will repaint the 1/48 gunpod in white , then applied the decal on it. Quote
big F Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 That looks so much better with the correct decals on. Quote
Godzilla Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 (edited) Someone needs to tell Yamato that was weak. Those Angel Bird stickers are way better from Hasegawa. Nice job Hayao. EDIT: It just occurred to me would you be selling your homemade decals? Edited October 9, 2006 by Godzilla Quote
ghostryder Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 Are the Hasegawa markings canon? I thought markings weren't shown on the anime. I like the emblem for sure and that should not have been omitted... I'm probably the only one, but I like Yamato's backdrop and font better than the generic ubiquitous MS Word script font that Hasegawa uses. Quote
Dante74 Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 You're not the only one. I like the Yamato one's better too. They look much more like something that would actually be on a stuntplane. Not that I'm any kind of expert or anything. Quote
big F Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 The Hasegawa ones are almost the same as the Thunbderbirds display team ones. I had one of the kits of them from LS they were (maybe still are) a areobatics team who flew Phantoms. I think (correct me if Im wrong) this is where S.K got his idea from Quote
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Beautiful! It almost makes me want an Angel Birds. What exactly did you use to panel line your valk, Hayao? Quote
Hayao Kakizaki Posted October 10, 2006 Author Posted October 10, 2006 Beautiful! It almost makes me want an Angel Birds. What exactly did you use to panel line your valk, Hayao? using water base gundam weathering marker, draw it wilfully, finish the whole plane, then use cotton ball all a little bit water to wash the surface, clean and sharp penal line was done~!
