Retracting Head Ter Ter Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 (edited) How about that 747 from the Japanese movie 'The Returner'? Edit :oh, toys only. Scrub that. Edited October 3, 2006 by Retracting Head Ter Ter Quote
Hiriyu Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 If helicopters are allowed, you can't forget the Transformer "Whirl", which was actually a recolor of the Takatoku Ovelon Gazzete from Dorvack. http://1500bc.com/pretf/dorvack.html Quote
jenius Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 If helicopters are allowed, you can't forget the Transformer "Whirl", which was actually a recolor of the Takatoku Ovelon Gazzete from Dorvack. I mentioned that on the last page but I couldn't remember what show it was from. Is that a Kawamori design? I seem to recall hearing it was. Quote
Salamander Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 (edited) Well, for the sake of variety, I'll retract my earlier Gobot statement. I had no idea there were so many, and actually based on real military aircraft. Most are on par with the aerialbots, in terms or suckiness: Gobot Jets - Spy Eye (Tornado) - super gobot Leader-1 (F-15) - normal and super gobot Bad Boy (A-10) Heat Seaker (F-16) Mach 3 (F-4) Sky Jack (F-14) Bullseye (B-1) Gunnyr (Mig-21) Royal T (Harrier) Gobot Props - Zero (Zero) Ace (P-51) Bentwing (F-4U Corsair) Some more (includes helicopters): Raizor (F4 Phantom crossed with helicopter) - Super Gobot Nightfright (Mil M-24 helicopter, IIRC) - Super Gobot Bolt (twin tail WW2 bomber - P-47 I think) Flip-Top (Navy helicopter) Water Walk (Cessna floatplane) Wrong Way (Apache) Warpath (Apache) Twin Spin (Sikorsky cargo helicopter) Spay C (space shuttle) Spay C (Super Gobot) (Space shuttle Challenger) Chaos top half (X-29, IIRC) Jet & Transport combinator top half (F-15) Helicopter & Transport top half (Helicopter) Sky Spy (SR-71 Blackbird) = Snoop Fantasy planes: Vamp (monster) - regular and super Pincher (monster) Hornet (monster) Fitor (futristic plane) Cop-Tur (futuristic helicopter) Bladez (monster) Breez (helicopter) Guide Star (shuttle) Odd Ball (plane) Sky Flyer (plane) Power Suit body (transport plane) Fangs (monster) Fright face (monster) Gore Jaw (monster) Heart Attack (monster) South Claws (monster) Weird Wing (monster) Re-Volt top half (crazy eagle monster) Traitor top half (crazy bee-like monster) Twister (helicopter) Robot Winch Helicopter (large helicopter) Raizor, Spy Eye, and Nightfright are really nice designs, by the way. From Machine Robo: Apollo Robo (Saturn V launcher) Mach Blaster (futuristic jet) R-Jetan (futuristic jet, gerwalk, tank, robot) Eagle Winner (F-15) Rotary Kid (futuristic helicopter) Machine Robo Rescue ('MRR') Jet Robo (jet) MRR Sky Robo (jet) MRR Gyro Robo (V-TOL jet) MRR Helicopter Robo (helicopter) MRR Shuttle Robo (futuristic jet shuttle) MRR Machine Commander Robo (jet + two tank-like vehicles combine into bigger jet) MRR Stealth Robo (Stealth fighter) MRR V Stealth Robo (Stealth fighter combines with additional parts into large flying wing) There's more, but then the list would get really long... do not disturb Posted October 5, 2006 Author Posted October 5, 2006 wow, some of these are out of control ugly, maybe i should've made it so they have to somewhat ressemble an airplane. Quote
kensei Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Sweet, I'll get things started. Funny enough the 1st one is a triple changer, he is also an aircraft carrier. What's stupid is that his character profile says that he gets seasick, and is afraid of heights! Quote
ghostryder Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 (edited) I forgot about this one (Octane) ... somewhat more decent than Broadside, but... Edited October 5, 2006 by ghostryder Quote
big F Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 so after looking at some pics, i've decided that transformers are not allowed, atleast not the craptastic ones which is a majority of the line. sorry to you transformer collectors out there but i can't even begin to grasp why/how you can collect the....worst....toys....ever! heres some examples of what i'm talking about... and my personal favorite.... ROTFLMAO! i'm still laughing at some of these pictures as i'm going down the list to see what everything looks like. the new title for this thread shoudl be changed to, transformable airplane toys people should never buy. While I wont argue with your post. Its a shame that the Astrotrain was not transformed properly and the Springer is not complete the White Powerglide clone badged as a Decepticon. What is that ??? Quote
areaseven Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 While I wont argue with your post. I don't know, but one thing's for sure: we didn't need to see those pics twice. Quote
big F Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 The powerglide is an e-hobby repaint. thanks for that Quote
valky-001 Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 They totally forgot to ad de Kellogg’s StarBots in here, best transformable flying free bots till now. Quote
TehPW Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 if its a helicopter/airplane/shuttle its cool, pretty much anything aviation related its cool as long as it doesn't look like a brick with wings per ghostyders post. Some of the Blakist LAMs from the Jihad era (Battletech) look a lot like sculpted bricks... Quote
mecha2241 Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 I remember having that Enterprise looking one and space shuttle looking one. Quote
