My wife lost hers on our honeymoon and I want to get her a new one, but she does not want me to pay too much, anybody know of a place online to get refurbed ipod nanos for not too much, besides ebay?

I just bought a new Nano and I did a lot of shopping around to find trhe best deal. I could not find a better deal personally than the Apple Store for refurb Ipods.

Universities usually have a book store that sells Apple products at a pretty substantial discount (often 15-20%). If you have a relatively major university nearby, you might drop by and pretend you're a student.

If you're willing, I'd say check your local craigslist for people selling. They usually sell new or refurbished stuff for less than retail and there's no sales tax.

Or you could try buying a used one that's pre-loaded with music.
