Die, Alien Scum!
Some films should never, ever be turned into be musicals. This is definitely one of them. And you thought Army of Darkness was the absolute worst thing that could happen to Ash! And whoever the hell Helen OHara is, she says, "This may be the best idea in the entire history of the world." Sorry honey, but you have no damn clue! Edited July 22, 2006 by Die, Alien Scum!
Dante74
OMFG! What will they think of next?! Actually they aren't thinking of anything are they, just using old concepts and f ucking them up to make a buck. It's the same in the game industry. Sequel after sequel after sequel. the white drew carey
This just falls under the great Superchunk verses: There's nothing new nothing new. Everything's borrowed, everything's used. The one shining point is that Evil Dead fans actually seem to get a kick out of it. How about you actually GO SEE IT, and then decide whether or not you want to rip on it? Guppy
hahaha.. I'm a huge Evil Dead fan and I love the idea! brilliant! Extra cheese. I've never been an overly precious fan (although I refuse to admit Alien3 or Resurrection exist, so maby I am) I'm just sad this will probably never make it to Australia! Die, Alien Scum!
How about you actually GO SEE IT, and then decide whether or not you want to rip on it? Oh, hellz no! I enjoyed the Evil Dead trilogy; in fact, Evil Dead 2 is one of my all-time favorite comedies. But there's absolutely, positively no way I would ever watch this train-wreck. Whoever decided this should be done needs to be publicly flogged. Now that, on the other hand, I would go and see!

Jolly Rogers
Come on, Evil Dead has been whored out over the years to countless awful videogames and multiple dip DVD releases... this is only an inevitability. Evil Dead adult diapers won't be far from the horizon now.
JELEINEN
A musical adaptation fits right in with the absurdist humor of Evil Dead. I'd watch it in an instant, and I hate musicals.
