Sundown
I just saw it and LOVE da Eastman/Laird style. Kawabunga! 417944 I liked the Eastman and Laird vibe, but something about the modelling of the heads seemed a little goofy and off, and I felt like the animation needed more weight and impact. I do like how they're very agile in a reptilian/froglike way.

Mr March
I saw this the other day and e-mailed it to all my friends. I'm curious how this will turn out. The teaser trailer looks really good. It captures much of the atmosphere in the comic as well as the tongue-in-cheek humor of the turtles. My only concern would be the inclusion of violence, which in the comics was quite graphic. I would want that transferred to the big screen as well, which was a big part of the original themes. They are "ninja" after all. This may finally be a faithful offering. We'll have to see. Limbo
" After the defeat of their old arch nemesis, The Shredder, the Turtles have grown apart as a family. Struggling to keep them together, their rat sensei, Master Splinter, becomes worried when strange things begin to brew in New York City. Tech-industrialist Max Winters is amassing an army of ancient monsters to apparently take over the world. " Oh man... No Shredder?!?!?!?! Veritas
Wow! That looks amazing. I didn’t expect it to look this good. I’m really routing for this one. TMNT was just about my favorite show after the Transformers and GI Joe episodes started dying down. I really wish these guys had a hand in working on the Transformers movie… because well… eh… I got nothing else to say about that.
eugimon
looks pretty good. I haven't liked tmnt since middle school but this looks like a lot of fun.
the white drew carey
Blue, Red, Orange and Purple headbands mean cartoon turtles, not comic turtles. I'll check it out, but the fact that i's listed as "family" means it will be nothing like the comic. My favorite version of the turtles is as they were seen in issue #1, baby. These guys look better than most of the turtle iterations we've seen (especially the ones where they are insanely muscled), but not as good as #1-style turtles. p.s.- irises? we don't need no stinking irises!!! mikeszekely
I don't know. It looks okay, but I don't have huge hopes for it. Me? The Turtles are like Highlander. Almost ost of the later shite, including the gay-porn fest, blasphemous cartoon, are simply shut out of our minds, like all the Highlander sequels and (ugh...) TV shows. I may be a fanboy, but I've always dreamed of doing a real Turtles story set within the firt 10 issues. I'm lame.

GrimlockCW
i saw the trailer... honestly it doesn't look bad, though a bit odd, the character models are crap design wise though, the masks aren't even on their heads if you look close theres a fat gap between leos face and his mask... i wonder wich it will follow... if it follows the original live action movies... erm... yeah... i don't think it'd be to hot, like the 3rd one, a flop. the comics or the original show, i could see that, and prob like it still. JB0
so my childhood may or may not be raped? (it sucks not having DSL...) 418456 Pretty much. The trailer is just the turtles hoping over rooftops. They land in an alley one at a time, and strike poses. Michealangelo falls in a trash dumpster, to the rest of the team's embarassment. Cops drive by and they dive into a manhole. But the important part is that it's turtles that got mutated, known ninjitsu, and are teenaged. The comic was never that popular.
Vermillion21
Let's just hope it is semi-serious in its tone, and not the Disney wannabe tone like in the live action TMNT flicks from the 90s .....
Mog
Well, I was getting the "I'm a dead-serious, bad-ass" vibe from Leo's posing. That's usually a good sign: Dead-serious Leonardo = Good. Goodie two-shoes, "I'm the leader!" Leo = Bad.

Kurisama
Man that looks SWEET! I love the turtles! I like the homage to the old comic (which i still have!), also if u look on www.tmnt.com, have a close look at the manhole cover - the top half that is. Looks like Aztec/Inca/Mayan Glyphs. I love that sorta stuff, plus the tmnt? Double bonus! Wonder what the glyphs relate to? Maybe a turtle mythology perhaps?
kanedaestes
Anyone consider it may follow the new cartoon series? I've seen the new series, i like it, it isn't as campy and actually follows the comics more from what i have read online at various sites. I haven't seen the trailer yet, but i remember seeing a teaser poster, and the logo on the poster was similar to the logo on the new show on Fox

Looking forward to this flick as it's one of two of my childhood favorites being redone movie form...
