GobotFool Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 (edited) If you had a say, which of course, you don't, BUT if you did have a say what would it be? I'd vote Patlabor. Done up exactly like the votoms were done, with fuly detailed cockpits to fit GI-joe sized pilot figures. They could even make a little command car to go along with them. Also the 1st 3 varients would be easy and they could later sell upgrades for the reactive armor. Edited July 12, 2006 by GobotFool Quote
the white drew carey Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Patlabor or Cruise Chaser Blassty. Quote
JELEINEN Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Giant Robo: The Animation would be my first choice. Runners up would probably be Escaflowne or Megazone 23. Quote
Beltane70 Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 I'd love to see more Megazone 23 mecha by Yamato. I'd especially want them to do the Wilde Sau or the production model Garland. Quote
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Yamato picking up M23 is like a dream come true for me. I'd say Appleseed should come next. I want fully poseable landmates with removable little pilot action figures inside Yay! Quote
GutsAndCasca Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Wait - I changed my mind. I want 1/4 scale Neon Genesis Evangelions. Quote
GobotFool Posted July 12, 2006 Author Posted July 12, 2006 *cough* Mospeada 415613 That would be nice, if it wasn't for harmony gold having all the mercandising rights for that series world wide methinks Quote
Vermillion21 Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 I'd vote Mospeada too ... only cause I want a BETA!!! Quote
Phyrox Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 I'd vote either mospeada or gall force. How about an "Artmic" line. Yeah, I'd buy that. Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 (edited) Mospeada!! Think of all the Inbit units I'd also like to see more Megazone 23. Gasaraki Metal Skin Panic (the Madox-01) Edited July 13, 2006 by Ignacio Ocamica Quote
Bob_Coffee Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Full Metal Panic i want me a 1/6 or what ever would match a 1/48 valk toy of the ARX-7 arbelest. =D Quote
stram8777 Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 indulge me with this answer since it is not a mecha franchise, but what about voltron, Vehicle and Lion. Quote
JB0 Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 indulge me with this answer since it is not a mecha franchise, but what about voltron, Vehicle and Lion. 415655 How is Voltron not a mecha franchise? Yamato needs to do Robot Alchemic Drive. I'd pay good money for a toy meganite. Quote
wolfx Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 (edited) Appleseed landmates (can't remember the names) 1/8 Tachikoma/Fuchikomas Crusher Joe Zone of the Enders (i'd buy them all up) and highly unlikely, Attack Suits Valken Edited July 13, 2006 by wolfx Quote
Cyclone Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Another vote Attack Suits Valken, man those advertising models for first game back in the day were great, or if M23, Harguns. I know most people would expect I'd say Mospeada, but Yamato had years before Toynami got the rights to snap up the license, so that would indicate that they couldn't get or weren't interested in Mospeada when the rights were available... Quote
wolfx Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Personally the listing i did was for any OTHER company that could do it and NOT yamato. Cuz i'd prefer Yamato to stay on their Macross franchise and build up on all the mecha they haven't yet done. Quote
Beltane70 Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Appleseed landmates (can't remember the names) Ah, yes, the good old Guges landmates, particularly the Guges Ds from book 4. Quote
EXO Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Appleseed Gasaraki Motoslaves for their BGC figures Full Metal Panic Gall Force Quote
JELEINEN Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 I just realized I picked all stuff Yamato has already done toys for. So how about this: the original Dangaiou. Quote
wolfx Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Ninja Scroll.... 415749 *points to topic* Quote
Fort Max Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 This is easy, Yamato could make an aboslurme killer Gasaraki Raiden if they did it in the same scale as their Scopedog but with the modern militray super detailing rather then 80's toy asthethic they used for that. Failing that, FMP: Arm Slaves (too big for 1:12 unfortunately) or a nice line of Nadesico Aestavalies with all the swappable frames. Quote
ShadowerV2 Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Appleseed landmates (can't remember the names) Ah, yes, the good old Guges landmates, particularly the Guges Ds from book 4. 415701 Indeed. I remember seeing a pic of a Landmate fully painted and all that by Yamato in an issue of ToyFare once. But I guess it was never released. And there have been pics of a Bri.... The big cyborg guy's version as well. Quote

Microman sized pilots. Raiden, the Arbalest those are 2 mechs I would love to own. In a 1:18 scale of course. Quote
emajnthis Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Metal Skin Panic (the Madox-01) 415625 Definitely both mechs from Madox, this series definitely needs some toys. Quote
Desert_tiger Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 I just realized I picked all stuff Yamato has already done toys for. So how about this: the original Dangaiou. 415721 Make that two votes for the original Dangaio (My fav bot). Also add in one Megazone Hargun bike complete with parts truck and crappy BD figure (to go along with Shogo) I'd like a super posable Detonator Orgun too. Valks, BGC Hard suits, Gunbuster, Garlands, and Dangaio.... I could die happy then. Quote
Ali Sama Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 exosquade centurions mask!!! i'd love good mask toys jayce and the wheeled warriors Quote
capt.actionjackson Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 exosquadecenturions mask!!! i'd love good mask toys jayce and the wheeled warriors Well, if we're going to take it outside of strictly mechs/robots, I wouldn't mind seeing Yamato make some Gatchaman vehicles with pilots. Oh, and Big O would be cool. Quote
Retracting Head Ter Ter Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Gundam! Ok ok. I would like a Gatchaman God Phoenix (esp the 2nd ver) from them. Of course the best thing is that they get round to making a Glaug and Destroids from Macross. 1/60 please. Quote
myk Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 (edited) Ninja Scroll.... 415749 *points to topic* 415757 Uh-oh...Looks like I've offended the thread police... If you had actually watched Ninja Scroll you would've seen a mecha-like character or two. Besides, other than Tekkaman Blade most of the other ideas posted weren't very inspiring, hence my idea that Yamato does more character work... Edited July 13, 2006 by myk Quote
