stram8777 Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 Well I feel the need to add my two cents here. I wouldn't say that I am an avid collector of "man dolls", but I do proudly display my vintage 60's and 70's G. I. Joes with my Valkyries. I have a couple of other 1/6 scale figures as well, including Vampire Hunter D and Spider-Man. My point is this it is a very cool figure based on Grahams review, and I would buy it but if for no other reason than to support the line and maybe see other characters, such as an Isamu. but the main draw back for me is the price. $79.95? Please note the affordable Sideshow Collectibles Star Wars toys, they are reasonably priced, come wth useful accessories, and are great looking figures. I really feel that Macross/Robotech fans are subject to price gouging, including my beloved valks. But that is another thread. I just feel that for $80 I should get more than an iron on patch, dogtags, and a couple hands. At the end of the day $80 is just too much, it is a good chunk toward a 1/48 or a couple 1/60. Quote
Macross73 Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 had this come out as a 9 inch figure it would have been a definate addition to my collection. Why 9 inch? Well as great as 12 inch figures are, size does matter when considering display space and cost. I have a rather large collection of 9 inch marvel characters. the marvel figs were originally about $15 each. they didnt have much in terms of accessories but i certainly would have paid 20 a fig if they had more to offer like helmets weapons and what not. yeah I know apples and oranges. I hope this sells well. i'd like to see the rest of the line. Quote

glane21 Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 So is this thing delayed or what? I thought Action HQ was to have them out in early July but I have heard nothing about my pre-order. Noel? anyone? Quote
Roy Focker Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Ditto to that question. Word was (from the retailers in general) that they be release towards the end of June. It is the middle of July and no word if they have actually been shipped to the online retailers. Quote
crasis Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 They will be shipping from Action-HQ very soon. We just need to wait a bit more. Thank you. Noel 416882[/snapback] Noel, any word on when we'll see images of Max? Quote
crasis Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 Alright, it's the end of July. Where's Max? I'm especially excited, as I received a pre-order notice for him from my fiancee for my birthday yesterday. That little piece of paper made my whole day. I'd love to see some prototype shots, even... Quote
