ruskiiVFaussie Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 I'm kinda hanging out for a VF-0, whichever head type, that will be packed with the 'Ghost' hardware additions. What's the chances of this happening? Ok, i know the pack will be frackfrickentastically huge, but hey, why stop a habit of a life time Yamato? We'd be saving money shipping one big box anyways compared to the Valk an Ghost boxes right? yeah, pretty sure about that. By this time i'd imagine all the little stuff ups in the VF-0S release would have been ironed out, and the wait would be worth it. (suffering without a VF-0!) I own one 1/48 VF-1J Hikky TV FP an Valk combo pack, (lol i even pack the GBP with it inside ) and i way prefer having it in the one big box compared to buying the separate Super FP's for my other 1/48's. I'm not a completist, but a pack similar to my TV Hikky with FP would make me feel, more complete. And not having to buy a Valk now, with the little money i got. lol Yamato, bring me a Ghost an Valk pack pwease! So, what's everyone reckon? Graham? Eventually for all my valks i'm gonna do some sweet ass custom boxes for em. Especially for my 1J hikky an it's extras. Yamato's boxes suck ass. Quote
promethuem5 Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 I think a VF-0 w/ Ghost booster would be an amazing set. Gorgeous to look at AND it'll give Yamato an excuse to live out their giant box fetish some more Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted June 17, 2006 Author Posted June 17, 2006 LOL, nail on the head saying it's a fetish! Weirdos lol. Quote
ShadowerV2 Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 I wouldn't mind getting one if it came with the ghost. Quote
eugimon Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 hmm, that would be cool. special edition shin? Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted June 17, 2006 Author Posted June 17, 2006 (edited) hell yeah, probably just a Shin like they did with Hik. I'd honestly only think about getting one Ghost/Valk combo pack. And the Shin special would do it for me. And later one single Ghost pack. Edited June 17, 2006 by ruskiiVFaussie Quote
kensei Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 I'd rather it come separate though. The only safe mode to keep it in is fighter mode, and we'd paying for another fantastically huge box. The 1/48 FAST Pack boxes were alright. Nice and compact while being stylish. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted June 17, 2006 Author Posted June 17, 2006 (edited) But shippin from overseas to aussie, two separate boxes would be more exe/larger? unless you send the parts without the box... but who else can you trust besides Kevin (dammit will miss you lol). promethuem5 Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 They'd obviosuly be released as both a boxed set and seperate sooner or later... I just want to see how big the combined bix'd be! Quote
Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0 Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 I'd say high possibility. Hell Shin AND Focker used it during the last episode. I think we'd get either Shin or Focker boxed with the Ghost first, and then see the Ghost by itself later on. This would give yamato a chance to brush up the small qc problems they had in the first run if a focker gift set were to be unleashed. And I myself think the box would be gargantuan. Quote
Vermillion21 Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 Can someone post a pic of the Ghost fast pack? Quote
Die, Alien Scum! Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 Can someone post a pic of the Ghost fast pack? 408619 Check out the models section. I'd post a link to some of the threads, but I'm too lazy for that right now. Quote
vlenhoff Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 I keep on wondering why don't they just release the whole thing together at once. VF-0S + Ghost together. Then I just answer myself: It is all marketing. Brrrrrrrring it Yamato, you know we'll buy it... Quote
Mowe Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 My heart say VF-0 + Ghost and the whole lot. But I wonder if the VF-0 is capable to hold up on its own in battroid mode with the ghost pack...Yamato must tighten those joints if the battroid has any chance wearing the ghost suit. Quote
Valk-1S Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 I would say that the Ghost will be sold seperately and not bundled. It will make it easier for Yamato stock to move. It will give buyers the flexibility to choose which valk they want and to add the Ghost if wanted. Plus by the time they release the Ghost, a lot of ppl would already have the VF-0S/A and would be looking more to just get the Ghost. Unless they surprise us and release the Ghost at the same time as Shin VF-0A. 1/48 bundle packs were all released together with a new variant and never bundle with a previously released Valk. Quote
Onimusha-shin Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 i'd have to agree with Valk-1S mainly because i feel that since this is their 1st attempt at the Zero line, they should duplicate their formula as the did for the VF-1's. it doesn't make sense for them to throw a combo pack straight at us unless they KNOW for certain that their domestic market appreciates such a combo. just my 2 cents. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted June 18, 2006 Author Posted June 18, 2006 Yeah, guess i'll have to wait for my combo pack after the first run of variants. Makes sense, thanks guys. Still, fingers crossed though. Quote
kensei Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 (edited) They'll probably make both. If a GBP system came out for the Zero, I doubt that it would be in a package though. Edited June 18, 2006 by kensei Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted June 18, 2006 Author Posted June 18, 2006 lol, now THAT would be a huge box. ;_; Quote
Vermillion21 Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Just watch MZero at the end... 408626 Gotcha - thanks! Quote
