specr0101 Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 Well, after almost 3 months, I finally got around to finishing these two VF-0's. I built them simultaneously. Please let me know what you think and I'll try to answer any questions might you have. Props to WmCheng for the great VF-0S buildup...master artist and craftsman! Enjoy the pics... Quote

CdnShockwave Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 I may be a bit of a lurker, but I can't let this go without giving the credit these peices deserve. AMAZING! Quote
nightmareB4macross Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 Oooooohhhhh, be still my heart. Those are beautiful. How about a pic of all that wonderful transforming mecha? including the items in the background. This would make for an incredible wallpaper. If that's okay with you. Please say yes. Quote
Mowe Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 Holy mother of Zeus!!!!! They are freaking amazing. If only I have skill of yours, and I would not be blackmailed by Yamato.... Quote
ChaosWarrior Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 WOW! they're awesome! Very nice work! ChaosWarrior Quote

Grayson72 Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 (edited) Those look really great man, thanks for sharing. Man that alpha is tiny compared to the rest, do we think the model company got the size correct? Edited May 27, 2006 by Grayson72 Quote
CdnShockwave Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 I am sooooo diggin that VF-0D. That thing just looks good enough to eat! Quote
UN Spacy Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Thanks for the extra pics. The VF-0D is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO damn sexay. Quote
Zinjo Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Thanks for the comments guys! More Pics as requested... 402844[/snapback] I love this shot!! You get real sense of comparative size for each generation of Variable Fighter (with the exception of the Legioss). Quote
Dante74 Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 WOW!! Excellent modelling! The VF-0D looks so cool. Quote
specr0101 Posted May 28, 2006 Author Posted May 28, 2006 By demand, more pics of the VF-0D. You can really see the improvements comparing the VF-0D(first macross model w/ a brush), to the VF-0S(most recent one w/ an airbrush). Quote
Dante74 Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Damn...nice...very nice. Yamato, make it happen! Quote
ikhii Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 wow... fantastic paint job man.. salut...salut... Can't wait to see more works and details from ya. Thanks for sharing. Quote
MechTech Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Those look awesome! The Legios IS to scale by the way. How does it feel to have your own squadron? I'm ashamed 'cause I haven't even seen Macross Zero yet I'm sure when I do, I'll buy a "zero." They look great. I've gotta get my "retro" project done and "modernize" with some newer generation stuff. - MT Quote
Veritas Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 Every single one of those models looks like top notch work, brush work or airbrush! Nice job. Quote
specr0101 Posted May 30, 2006 Author Posted May 30, 2006 Thanks guys for the kinds words. These things take forever to build! I'm trying to find more efficient methods to make them quicker. I have so many kits I want to start, but once I do, I lose interest due to the tedious steps. It's these steps that make the difference from a shabby model from a good one. I'll keep you guys posted when I complete more models. Quote
CdnShockwave Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 I say again, that VF-0D is pure love. If it were a woman, I would marry it and call it Suzi! Quote
