Question On Vf-0 And Sv-51

Were these two variable fighters given any offical name like the vf-1 Valkyire or vf-19 Excalibur. I heard somewhere( not sure where) that the Zero was the Phoenix?? Did the sv-51 even get a name??

From memory, The VF-0 was called the Phoenix and then the official name was dropped... can't quite remember the details, and the 51 never had one i think, but it should've been some like 'Vulture' or "Condor", some carrion eating bird.

"Phoenix" was never official. It was a tentative name, (most likely from a magazine interview) and was never adopted in the final product.
