Dynaman Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 now I'm sad, I was kind of hopping this crap wasn't coming back. I won't force you to watch it, honest! Quote
Beltane70 Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 After seeing the previews for the next season, making us wait until January was cruel and unusual punishment! Good to hear that we only have to wait about four weeks now. Quote
505thAirborne Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 All new episode tonight on SyFy, don't forget to watch it!!!! Quote
EXO Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Whoah, totally under the radar. No ads, no trailers. Glad my DVR picked it up. Quote
derex3592 Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Whoah, totally under the radar. No ads, no trailers. Glad my DVR picked it up. NO DOUBT!! Mad props to 505thAirborne's post without which I would have totally missed it! Ran in and hit record on the DVR with ONE minute to spare! Quote
David Hingtgen Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Episode was interesting, if a bit slow. (though that's been the main complaint since day 1). Episode could have been half as long. Quote
505thAirborne Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Anytime derex3592, While I was watching TV Monday night I was curious what was on for Tuesday, realized they were giving Caprica all day and saw the new episode, like EXO said, under the radar. Thought the episode was great, slow but great. Beware of Zoe!! Quote
RedWolf Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Why do I have a feeling a war is going to brew between the Ha'la'tha and the STO? Both are offered exclusivity to resurrection unknown to each other by different individuals. Amanda was surprise though. I thought, everybody thought she bought the bucket. Quote
EXO Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Amanda was surprise though. I thought, everybody thought she bought the bucket. That was a cool surprise (that and Meg Tilly back in the habit) I was wondering why Amanda was in the opening credits, though. Quote
David Hingtgen Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 A bit late, but editing big spoiler. Quote
505thAirborne Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Excellent episode last night, already counting down to next Tuesday. I'd go into detail but don't to spoil for anyone who didn't see it yet. Quote
derex3592 Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 caught up on both episodes now....show is getting more and more interesting. Loving Zoe with some badass "Kill Bill" skills! haha! Quote
Ghost Train Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Loved how the episode was shot in pouring rain. Malfunctioning umbrellas perhaps symbolic imagery of things to come? Quote
Gaijin Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 I didn't know this was back on already. Missed it all. Quote
Million Star Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 God the CG in this show is horrible, even for TV. Quote
505thAirborne Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 I didn't know this was back on already. Missed it all. SyFy.com or Hulu should have both episodes up for you to watch!! Quote
Dynaman Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 (edited) SyFy.com or Hulu should have both episodes up for you to watch!! Watch out for Hulu - it has episode 112 listed as 111. Same thing happened with on-demand from comcast. (or the other way around - when I watched it on-demand last week it seemed like I had missed an episode, then when I started up 112 this week it was the same episode I saw last week listed as 111) [EDIT] - 110 is the first episode of season 1.5 (how I wish SyFy would stop that stupid number scheme!). I thought the first half of season 1 was 10 episodes? I guess the first one counted as a special. Edited October 14, 2010 by Dynaman Quote
EXO Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 God the CG in this show is horrible, even for TV. Has gone down a lot. Maybe thats why there was so much rain. The part where she threw out the bag didn't even try... it was just some car in the middle of Vancouver or something. Quote
Gaijin Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 SyFy.com or Hulu should have both episodes up for you to watch!! Yeah, I know. Just surprised that it came back early. Thought it was coming back in Jan. Quote
505thAirborne Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 And the plot continues too thicken, twist and reveal even more intrigue. The ending was well filmed. Quote
David Hingtgen Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 You have to admit, trying to make an avatar of Mrs Greystone would make any simulation flaws immediately apparent to him. Good choice to "experiment" with to try to perfect the process. Quote
azrael Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 This came in late today: Syfy cancels 'Caprica', Cable network axes skein during first season (Variety) Last 5 episodes will air sometime in 2011. Quote
David Hingtgen Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Why not just show the last 5 eps now? There will be NO audience next year... Quote

I'm sure I'm a lone voice here but that is Frakked up!! I've really been enjoying the show, the stories and even the acting, its a well done show and the pace is picking up. Sadly I had a feeling this show was headed for the shredder...... Quote
miles316 Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Shamed to here that it has been canceled, But that Cylon Centurion Welding those twin M-4 was major Bad Ass I kept expecting Sam to say "Say Hello to my Little Friend". Quote
EXO Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 I love the show and the characters, but I don't really blame them for cancelling it. I think syfy was given the idea that this was going to lead to the cylon wars but it seemed like they were going to stretch out the drama and just drop hints of the cylon development. The first half of the season had a steady pace but the last few episodes were more of the same. The whole "who will run Graystone Industries" was pretty unecessary. The series has a weird foundation of Mob vs. Industry/Technology. I would think that a show that leads up to BSG would be more about Miltary vs Politics vs Technoloy. The Religion aspect seems like a fit because BSG had a lot of religion in it. But the biggest disservice is splitting up the season. I thought this was season 2. While I was waiting for it, I'm sure a lot of people let it drop under their radar. The absence of publicity doesn't help either. I guess this makes more room for more crappy TV people seem to be fond of. Quote

Funny that SyFy promotes the hell of stuff like Ghost Hunters but a show like this one just got left behind. So will they at least try to wrap the story up with the remaining episodes, or does this show just end...? Quote

505thAirborne Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 What a shame. I hope they do a MUCH better job at promoting and pacing BSG Blood & Chrome for next year. Quote
