1/18th Cvr-3 Cyclone Armoured Microman

Hi all,

Well here is the 1st Mospeada/Robotech/Macross project i`ve done.

It was a simple sculpting & painting job really.

I was never happy with the 3 3/4 Scott Bernard figure,being in that Merged CVR3 armour. Really annoyed me so to put things right I sculpted my own.

First a few WIP shots.

I`m planning to make cargo boxes for one of the other Cyclones shortly & making a BETTER Scott Bernard figure similar to the Microman Custom I`ve already done.

Excellent job! Did you start out with a microman figure?

Not to take away form your work which is great, but I think there is something not quite right with the helmet. Maybe the sides are too thick? And shouldn't the bottom front of the visor be open, as in, just the "glass" part with no green block in front? Please take this as some small constructive criticism. I am very impressed with the work you did on this figure and it is a giant improvement over the original.

Someday I'll go and get one, fix all the issues with it, and then add on the Ride Armor... so I can have a really posable rider, and a really posable armored fig.

Now that's a cool custom fig. Definitely looks like he's got more swagger in his step than the original Scott figure. Like John Wayne posing next to Woody Allen for a publicity photo.
