zeo-mare Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 (edited) Nice! Are those Gundam action bases? Are they a good alternative to the yamato stands and can you leave the gunpods on the fighters when displaying them? yes they are the action bases, they work well i got them from Image Anime for $10.00 apeice which is much cheaper then the Yamatos, the YF-19 can have the gunpod, the Vf-0 can to... sort of, but they are a little crooked. the VF-1S with fast pack is to heavy for it however, it comes with many little peices to hook underneath the kits or figures you use on it, i had to cut some of the parts on those pieces to make it work, but they are stable so far and i have had no problems with them. chris Edited December 22, 2006 by zeo-mare
Valkyrie addict Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 great pics, I'm on the process of buying myself a freakin shelf to display my collection that i'm slowly attaining, hahahahha
mojacko Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 wow....nice collections....and all along i thought that MP03 was smaller than the usual 1:48 & 1:60 valks......sure hope theres a lot of die cast content.....
Dante74 Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 man those are some great pics !!!! two questions, were did you get that ED 209! Read all about the ED209 in this thread. I got it at HLJ.
zeo-mare Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 well i can update that original picture, i would like to thank wickedpr1nce for hooking me up with the VF-0S and display stand. they are perfect and nicely round off my collection
Wicked Ace Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Updated collection for your pleasure Your pictures remind me of how my apartment in college looked. I had toys all over the kitchen counter and dining table. BTW, nice pose on the 1/48 DYRL Roy, but the TF Mustang ("Wheeljack") is ugly.
Valkyrie addict Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 if you look at your 19, the case behind gives it an 'afterburner' effect , very niceeeeee and, I bet noone dares to raid kanedaestes fridge at night, that's one hell of a protected refrigerator, hehehe
kanedaestes Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 (edited) Its funny cause i originally didnt plan on putting my toys on the counter. I just had my transformers there cause i didn't have boxes for them, and i hadnt gottne my furniture yet for my apartment. Eventually i just thought it would be neat to put everything there, mostly because its has the most shelf space so far in my apartment. And i agree with the cool yf-19 display above me Edited December 24, 2006 by kanedaestes
dafunguy Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Here's my new YF-19, safety tucked away in the display cabinet along with my other macross plus stuff. Sorry for the crappy pic.
Macross73 Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Looks great and that case is really nice and wide lots of room there for all them
Dante74 Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 I agree, very nice display case. I have detolfs myself and IMO the biggest downside to the detolfs is that there's no room to put multiple valks in fighter mode next to each other.
jenius Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 I agree, very nice display case. I have detolfs myself and IMO the biggest downside to the detolfs is that there's no room to put multiple valks in fighter mode next to each other. I own 4 Detolf cases and I absolutely hate the fact I can't do more valks in fighter mode. I liked Sebastian's modified Detolfs (he had a custom top and base made so that two would be combined into one). Just the same, I really think at some point I'm just going to hunker down and go with the huge custom cabinets.
eyesonme78 Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 (edited) My newest collections. saviour .mospeada cyclone and of cos MY YF-19!! heehee... mospeada cyclone is not a simple kit to deal in as gundam .. just discover that, anyways enjoy Edited December 25, 2006 by eyesonme78
jenius Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 For some reason, it seems to me like your YF-19 is gettin' ready to pistol whip that Ride Armor for being a glory hog.
agr33 Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 WOW, I didn't realize how good those kits looked when built may have to pick some up, great pics. your right, that 19 does look like he is about to pistol whip him!

Kicker773 Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Well my collection isn't that big, so i apologize in advance.. after moving stuff around i finally got a chance to make some room and put away some yamato boxes. sigh.. Here is what I have to deal with: All of this has to be displayed to open up some space in my small room. Goes into this Results: Like the background the rest of Macross/Robotech related stuff... Ground crew of the Prometheus: I managed to rearrange my other display case, but that's all gundams..unless someone wants me to post them

I still haven't cut out the valkyrie cardboard pictures that came with it.

kensei Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Wow that's great collection. Those Destroid conversion kits are hot property too. Good stuff.
