DyNo Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Awesome collection, DyNo! Are all of these toys or do you have models displayed as well. Couldn't tell from the pic. Thanks everyone! The only model there is the Armored Battroid VF-1A 1/72 Wow and now that I think about it, I put it together over 18 years ago...
ruskiiVFaussie Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 (edited) Cool display/collection and cabinet Dyno. I must say the Strike Stealth 1J looks really nice posed there. Can't wait for my 1/5000 SDF-1 movie version coming in January. Edited October 12, 2007 by ruskiiVFaussie
drkstar00 Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Hey DyNo: Any chance of getting a close up of the SDF Macross in the upper left of the case? The super-cool painted job?
nightmareB4macross Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Hey DyNo: Any chance of getting a close up of the SDF Macross in the upper left of the case? The super-cool painted job? That's actually not a custom, but produced by W.H.A.M. Special Movie Edition to be release soon, in a more greayinsh tone.
valentin Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Here's my micro macross zero collection. (will definitely need to find a bigger space soon.) Close-ups
misterryno Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 (edited) valentin, Space is always a nice thing, but if you don't have it, you don't have it. Anyways...I like your collection. ________________________________________________________________________________ I am now moced into my new place...I just need to straighten everything out....so it may be a week or 2 till I can display my collection in full force. I will be SOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY when I can. Edited October 15, 2007 by misterryno
sqidd Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Here's my micro macross zero collection. (will definitely need to find a bigger space soon.) $25 very small cabinet $15 extra for glass door $750 worth of toys inside Not caring that you did it backwards.........priceless
Jeremy007 Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 i think everything looks pretty good crammed in there like that.
Scream Man Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 I like the 2 fighters taking each other on, but Im not sure about the crawling oA or crashed oS...., still whatever helps u enjoy your toys
ruskiiVFaussie Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 heh heh really crammed in there! I thought i was bad at cramming my stuff together. Love how you posed your SV-51 and Shin Ghost. Perhaps you might want to deploy landing gear for Roy's 1S and flip Shin's battroid on it's side with feet facing towards you ala sliding Gunpod blaring display? Like Hikaru's scouting mission when he took on the Recon Zentran and smashed his way through their front. Nice stuff mate.
miriya Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Here is a new addition to my collection. Not macross but still cool. This is a Busou Shinki Santa Claus Sugaru weapons set put on a Angel Arnval. I could have gotten a better pose out of her I am sure but it took me about an hour just to put the weapons set on the figure. These things are really difficult to manipulate without them crumbling in your hands. I like the Sugaru head but I think that I will put the Angel Arnal head back on next week.
Lonewolf Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 Here's my Hikaru's TV VF-1J with some stickers added to inculde the plane in Skull squadron.
ruskiiVFaussie Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 (edited) wow nice! I never ever thought of that, including the 1J in the Skull squadron (even though he was sought of) GREAT IDEA LONEWOLF MAN! I think i'll have to slap a few Skull's on my Hikky 1J too. Awesome idea! Edited October 20, 2007 by ruskiiVFaussie
Lonewolf Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 Thanks ruskiiVFaussie. Officially he IS part of skull squadron, but doesn't wear the fine colors of it.
ruskiiVFaussie Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 Yeah, and that gives us the incentive to pretty up those pearly white Tail fins with the Skull insignia. I'm gonna do that today! Thanks again for the idea, now all i need to do is take him out of the Sumo suit. lol
drkstar00 Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Sry...I know it's in R packaging...but it's still pretty cool...
vermillion01 Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 (edited) Sry...I know it's in R packaging...but it's still pretty cool... are these dolls rare? They pop up on ebay.co.uk quite often for next to nothing. there are 3 on right now. I see from the price sticker on Lisa thats $85 !!!! they go for £5 - £10 when i see them. Just a heads up if anyone wants them. in fact someone let me know if they are considered rare.. i might pick them up! (rough exchange rate - £1 = $2) Edited October 21, 2007 by vermillion01
vermillion01 Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 yeah, 65 Canadian so are they worth getting? I'm not actually keen on them myself, but more as an investment syle purchase. I have no idea of their "collectable" worth so i've never bothered to look twice until now. I have checked to make sure that they are not copies but original HG products too.
GutsAndCasca Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 found this in internet and looks like there are frech collectors forum out there and all the gallery in the forum full of alpha fighter!!! vintage one!!!! here only one of those pics enjoy Jealousy pangs.
GutsAndCasca Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Sry...I know it's in R packaging...but it's still pretty cool... For fun I bought Minmay, Lisa, Rick, and Dana for my wife as a joke/gift. Altogether I think it probably cost around 90 for all of'em.
Legioss Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 are these dolls rare? They pop up on ebay.co.uk quite often for next to nothing. there are 3 on right now. Just a heads up if anyone wants them. in fact someone let me know if they are considered rare.. i might pick them up! (rough exchange rate - £1 = $2) I saw this while searching for something else and thought I'd mention that I'm selling mine for $10 a doll. That's free shipping in USA but I can work out cheap deals for other countries so I make a few $ off them. I don't really care how much they're worth. I'm just trying to liquidate them to buy stuff I want. http://p081.ezboard.com/frdfhqcommunicatio...icID=1124.topic
Jeremy007 Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 yeah, 65 Canadian which is now 65 USD as well. ive never seen an even exchange rate.
GutsAndCasca Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 Minmay Holy crap, I have those exact same speakers you have.
orguss01 Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 Who makes/made that Minmay??Very nice.. Minmay
baronv Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 I think that's the Banpresto Minmei figure, I have that one as well as the Mireya and Claudia Grant figures.
drkstar00 Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 I'll have to find the box for this one; I purchased it overseas in 1999 at a Japanese department store.
miriya Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 It is definitely the banpresto. The Claudia is nice too. IMO the Milia and Misa are not as nice as the Yamato and CMS versions but the minmei and claudia are must haves. Hard to find for sure. Way out of print but they pop up on ebay every now and again. There is a german site selling some of these which is where I got my claudia but I think they are down to one misa and one milia.
Ghostkiller Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 here is my collection yes I know I yamatoed
Jeremy007 Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 Great looking display! I love the "transforming" CF...nice touch.
Scream Man Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 Yeah dude, the Valk in mid shift to battroid is a nice one! u should put it in a line with a fighter and a battroid....
