mister_e Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 My apologies in advance for my photography skill (or lack thereof). My collection has grown quite a bit over the last couple of years. I REALLY REALLY NEED a Max Super VF-1J. odr78 Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Nice collection.....I agree..... You need a Vf-1j Max..... Good luck

Scream Man Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 mister e: Your collection is essentially what i want mine to be! And i see u wont hat 1j Super, congrats
Valkyrie addict Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 (edited) here's my collection so far that I've started a few months ago, I'm focusing mostly on the 1/60 line, since it's Yamato's new fadd there's the shelf Edited February 17, 2007 by Valkyrie addict
Valkyrie addict Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 (edited) a couple of close ups Edited February 17, 2007 by Valkyrie addict
Valkyrie addict Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 (edited) Thanks jenius, adjusted the file size, quality isn't the best but oh well...there you go Edited February 17, 2007 by Valkyrie addict
jenius Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 Judging by the vast size of the pictures you did post, I would venture that you can't post the others because the file size is too large. The site doesn't seem to indicate a max but I've found the bigger the file the harder they are to attach. Try usin' a software to shrink the size down a bit.
Dampiel Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Valkyrie addict. Nice collection. Those stands wouldn't be made by Bbi would they?
odr78 Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Hey ?? The VF-0s armored ??? I never see it before.... It's not a Yamato ?? Where do you have this armored VF-0S ??? I'm curious...
Fly4victory Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Odr78 the armored VF-0S might be the Hasegawa model. http://www.hlj.com/product/HSG21 The model comes in a huge box almost the size of a 1/48 Yamato.
eugimon Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 I wonder when yamato will come out with their version. Seeing yours makes me long for one.
baronv Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Valkyrie addict your Hasegawa VF-OX Armored valk is Da Bomb! Would you mid taking close-up pics of it along with the armored VF-1J next to it? I never realized it stood toe-to-toe with it in size.
Golden Arms Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 I agree. I love your Armored VF-0S. I have the same cabinet BTW.
Valkyrie addict Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 (edited) hehe! glad you guys like it Dampiel - yes, their the Bbi stands, I had them lying around I thought I could use and it actually hold them pretty good odr78 - it's the VF-0S Reactive armor from Hasegawa from Fly4victory link baronv - I love how the two armored valkyries look toguether, the VF-0's really makes the old GBP look dated, but still looks good on it's own, I'll take pics later and post some close up of them toguether... thanks Golden Arms, It's a very handy cabinet, bought it specially for my VF's, but I'm gonna have to buy another one soon since I'm quickly running out of space Edited February 18, 2007 by Valkyrie addict
eugimon Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 hurry up and give us a nice photo shoot with you reactive armor kit!
Deimos Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 minmay and crew of SDF-1 wishes all chinese members a very happy chinese new year and to all forumers , spring is here !!!
jenius Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Deimos, what's up with the blank 1/48 VF-1S? Is it just a real world custom? On my monitor it looks a bit off... like you stripped an LV1, added a white VF-1S head to it, and then somehow bleached the whole thing. My brightness setting is probably all f'ed up making it look odd but do tell about that custom.

Mog Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 (edited) ^^^Here's a very good primer/thread from a few months back with a few tips and pointers about taking better photos: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...;hl=photography Definitely taught me a thing or two. Edited February 19, 2007 by Mog
anime52k8 Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I figure I’ll contribute my miniscule collection to the thread. So enjoy my little solitary display case with its lowly shelf of macross stuff. (There will be more eventually.)
Kicker773 Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 those are available at Ikea, but they seem to be more expensive than the detolfs which are only 60.00
Jasonc Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 One of these days, very soon, I'll have pics up of my collection. It's a mediocre collection. But some customs in there as well.
Nostalgia Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 Enjoy peeps. The main shelf S.Stealth squadron Shelf no.2, above my work desk movie VF-1A squadron And lifesize poster of Minmay from Robotech.com.
jenius Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 That's a lotta Stealths! Very nice collection. I might worry about the toys next to the window though... that's a good way to get some yellowing (althought it looks like a pretty shaded outcrop so probably not much of a concern).
eugimon Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 mmm, nice collection and I like the layout for your collection
