Agent-GHQ Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 he isn't. at least i'm sure he doesn't collect as much as kensei or godzilla. and the way they do collecting without being retailers is pretty criminal in itself. 414324 It sucks! But money talks as we all know it.
jenius Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 (edited) More pics from my reviews at www.anymoon.com (shameless promotion, I know, but I like my pics!). I added all the Mac+ toys: (yes, I know the VF-11Bs should have their orange heatshields... I just never removed them from the plastic... check it out though, I did get the YF-21FP back into the proper fighter mode without a gap behind the cockpit) Edited July 28, 2006 by jenius
fansubs2000 Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 Jenius I am always amazed by your pics. The poses you get your Valks in are perfect! Not just these, but all the pics I have seen in your collection. Nice job dude!
jenius Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 Hey thanks a ton, glad you appreciate them. It's definitely a labor love! I take about 40 pics of every toy, some day I'll have a photo archive linked to my website so people who access the review can check out the 40 reference pics also (most of those are just static pics for comparisons... I usually only take 3 or 4 pics of the toys actually in action poses). In the meantime I'll keep posting some gems over here for a much wider audience
Ivan Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 Could someone please take a picture of TV Hikaru VF-1J with the Stealth fast packs? I'm tempted to get the Stealth fast packs reissue. Thanks.
Froy Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 From Mexico... at last Is very hard to find them now that Valk-exchange is no more. All my stuff came from Kevin.
Vermillion21 Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Froy - Nice collection mate! Jenius - I agree with fansubs2000, I dunno how you do it, but you take the sweetest pics of the mecha in action poses mate!! Thanks to you both for sharing ...
GrimlockCW Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 (edited) Very nice! The fast packs (in the other pics) don't really work in atmosphere, I like that non fast pack valk shot. 397154 Thanks! Yeah, the FPs are more of a space thing, but all my figures are packed away (been moving into a new apartment) so I've just been taking whatever I can find in the customs galleries. Usually it comes down to having the right angle... and for some reason the FP pix just happen to "fit" the carrier backgrounds in terms of angle... but thanks! Here's another one for ya: psst, from someone who's worked flight decks, do NOT trust those yellow shirts to park your jet right! i still want to know how you crash a jet moveing FORWARD into the jet next to it thats tied down still!? gah, we lost 14 flight hours on that and had to replace 2 elevator ends, thankfully the tips are seperate parts... heh, awsome pics! VF-18S Hornet Posted August 1, 2006 Author Posted August 1, 2006 Anyone have a nice picture of a 1/60 VF-0S displayed next to a 1/60 VF-1 in battroid mode? 421512 Ask and you shall receive 421520 Man!!!! Are they sure that thing is a 1/60th scale looks like a 1/48 scale to me.
GrimlockCW Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 nopes thats proper scale, the VF0 is HUGE compared to the VF1's, its about the size of a VF-19 or so.
Dante74 Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 I need to get me one of those 1/60 VF-1's to display next to my upcoming 1/60 collection. Can't have a 1/60 VF-0a and 19 standing next to my 1/48's That would look silly.
Vermillion21 Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 The more I see the VF-0 valk, the more I want it ....
nightmareB4macross Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 The more I see the VF-0 valk, the more I want it .... 422046 Hey you!!! Stop being such a window shopper and give in already!!!
Vermillion21 Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 Hey you!!! Stop being such a window shopper and give in already!!! I'll probably "cave" and get the VF-0A ...
Fly4victory Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 No longer on the counter; now safe behind glass and the Lego shelf at work.
wolfx Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Woah...nice VF-4 model! And the lego monster is huge!
BoBe-Patt Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 yeah, good job on the lego valks! Did you make them yourself or did you buy instructions on how to make em?
Fuzzball Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 wow the lego yf-19 looks awesome so does the monster. Man that thing is huge. I also like the f-14 model with the macross stickers. Fuzzy
Hiriyu Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Wow, really nice stuff there Fly4victory. I especially like the Lego stuff, but your models are just as nice. Ditto what Pat says above, are the Lego creations your own? I'll have to get some pics of my collection up at some point too.
Fly4victory Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Wow, really nice stuff there Fly4victory. I especially like the Lego stuff, but your models are just as nice. Ditto what Pat says above, are the Lego creations your own?I'll have to get some pics of my collection up at some point too. 423352 The VF-1S is a modified version of http://www.foundrydx.com/vf1s.html this started the lego fever from purchased plans. The VF-4, non variable, and YF-19, partial variable, are my designs. The VF-22 is at http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/14141 There are no plans so I had to look at the pictures and figure it out. http://www.brickcommander.com/ has destroids from Battletech and required minor modification and slight color change. The plans are free. The monster is also my design and the hardest. It is very heavy and not user friendly. I have seen a VB-6 in gray that was variable but do not have the link. I had been working on a Cheyenne from Macross Zero but it has been on hold for about two months. All I have is the back, gatling guns and arms. I have also been thinking about the VB-3 and VF-5000. The legos have been put aside to play with my airbrush. That and work likes to interrupt. The custom lego mini-figs were drawn with MS paint and then sent to Cybertron's Heroes and Villains on ebay for production. He had Star Wars and Star Trek but no Macross.
Dante74 Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 WOW nice collection. You just made me put another 1/48 VF-1 on my want list. I thought I was done with them, but looking at the diversity of VF-1's you have I now know that you can never have enough 1/48's
Agent-GHQ Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Damnnnn!! I'm lovin it. I wonder if Yamato will make the Space Booster Pack as seen in the Macross T.V.?
Dante74 Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 I was wondering the same thing. They could do it in all the colorscheme's. Might be a bit to obscure, even for Yamato.
Macross73 Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 (edited) Just one shelf up so far after having moved Edited August 9, 2006 by Macross73
jenius Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Oh man, who's gonna be the unfortunate sap who has to let this guy know that's just a box....
ShadowerV2 Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 What? It's empty? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! But yeah it's all inside.
kensei Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 After a painful left hip replacement, Roy is back in action.
Vermillion21 Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 (edited) Fly4victory - Nice collection mate! Love the lego valks!!! Macross73 - Wish I had just 1 Gakken 1/35 Alpha .... I am jealous. Edited August 12, 2006 by Vermillion21
mister_e Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 In preparation for my upcoming baby, I've started packing most of my toys away to make more space. I thought I'd snap a few shots of my 1/48's before packing them away for who knows how long. I really have no business using a digital camera
Vermillion21 Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Early congrats on the baby mate ... be prepared to get very little sleep!!
