Primus1X Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Anime Limited's Limited Edition Mobile Suit Gundam Part 1 Box, at first glance it looks planer than the American one but it makes sense in not depicting the RX-78-2 fighting Char's Gelgoog and Elmeth which does not happen until the second part.http://blog.alltheanime.com/gundam-part1-box/ Quote
F-ZeroOne Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Heh, I saw a poster a little like that in a shop in Akihabara once, except it had most, if not all, the Gundam characters up to that time on it. I started pointing them out to the friend I was with and going "Dead, dead, dead, catatonic, dead... " Quote
joppewo Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Wonder if Rightstuf/Nozomi is going to offer any extras or storage box similar to the UK? Thus far it just seems like a barebones release with a slipcover Quote
Marzan Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Already preordered that chunky UK release Quote
SchizophrenicMC Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Bit weird hearing the names chewed up like that, but at least the acting and direction seem quality. Quote
mikeszekely Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Unicorn is the only one that'd make my top 10 list, but it's hard to take them seriously when they show Shining Grand am for God, Destiny for Strike Freedom, and Impulse for Destiny. Or only give the RX-78 an honorable mention. (speaking of honorable mentions, Kyrios? A poor man's Zeta.) Or refer to Deathscythe as haring "lots of guns in its head and collar." Quote
SchizophrenicMC Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 WatchMojo, more like "I've only seen it written" Top Tens. "Zero Zero Gundam Quan Tee", "For All Gundam", "Banagger Links", "Setsoona See-ee"? They also show Wing Gundam while talking about Wing Zero. What's up with that? The least they could do is be consistent. You can also tell immediately the list wasn't put together by people who have actually seen Gundam, otherwise some mention of Zeta would be on there, especially in place of Kyrios. All that said, I don't disagree with some of their choices. Say what you will, Turn A Gundam, Unicorn, Strike Freedom, Wing Zero, and some version of 00 all have their place on this list. God Gundam too, probably. And I'd add RX-78-2 and Zeta Gundam to that as well. That leaves 2 wild cards, which are up for debate- endless debate, I'm sure. I stopped paying attention to WatchMojo (not that I ever gave particular notice to them anyway) when they put Naruto near the top of their best-anime list. Quote
SchizophrenicMC Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 I feel like I have to follow that up with a 10-year-old fan video with like 3 pixel resolution: Quote

SchizophrenicMC Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 So they're making another Char Custom Auris huh? I always figured they should have picked a more appropriate model, considering. Quote
areaseven Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 So they're making another Char Custom Auris huh? I always figured they should have picked a more appropriate model, considering. Yeah, it would've made a lot more sense if they used Volkswagens instead. Quote
SchizophrenicMC Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Now that you mention it, it did look like Zeon was going to come out on top by the end of the year, but in the middle of September the first event that would lead to their eventual defeat occurred. Quote

calubin_175 Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Really, WatchMojo? Dumb video, It is titled Top 10 Mobile suits from the Gundam Franchise and they said non-Gundam mobile suits won't be considered. Quote
SchizophrenicMC Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 You know, if Funimation gets in on this Iron Blooded Orphans thing, I'll have to watch it, just to push Funimation toward giving us some Funi-quality NA releases in the future. Say what you will about them, they don't half-ass their NA releases. Quote
