Primus1X Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 MSG will include dual audio and subtitles. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2015-07-03/right-stuf-sunrise-to-release-original-gundam-tv-anime-on-blu-ray-disc/.90041 Quote
electric indigo Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Can't tell WHAT that image is as its so dark. Crap o la. It looks very un-Gundam-y at the moment: Quote
renegadeleader1 Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Super Robot Mazingeresque version of Gundam? Quote
lechuck Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 I hope the release of Z, ZZ, V and X will be blu-ray too and tthat we eventually get CCA, F91 and the other OVAs. Quote
Black Valkyrie Posted July 4, 2015 Author Posted July 4, 2015 May be it set in a steam punk world. Quote
Phyrox Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 Looks "un-gundam-y" seems like a step in the right direction. Everything looks so derivative of everything else it's gotten boring. A step in a new direction (like Zeta was from MSG?) could be interesting. It even looks a bit Nagano-esque, which could be very exciting. Who's to say if the story and characters are any good (my moneys on 'no'), but the teaser has my attention. Quote
chyll2 Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 ^ I am still sad that the bad-ass Stark Jegan pilot have to die. Quote
areaseven Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 ^ I am still sad that the bad-ass Stark Jegan pilot have to die. You gotta admit that he put up a fight. GM/Nemo/Jegan pilots normally don't last 2 seconds when surrounded by Funnels. Quote
Primus1X Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 The initial appearance made me think of Mazinkaiser. With the name possibly translating into blood of iron, it could be horror, steampunk or both. Maybe a cybernetic Gundam, the blood of a human within armor made of iron? Now they revealed more, I think it looks like the Earth Engine Impacter with some Knights armor mixed in. Quote
mikeszekely Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I'll reserve judgement until I see the show... after all, I hated the Turn A when I first saw it, but the series wound up being Tomino's best since Zeta, and the Turn A's design sort of grew on me. On the flip side, I thought the Strike Gundam was a fresh take on the RX-78 (and truthfully, Freedom's still one of my favorites) but I ended up hating SEED. If I'm being honest, though, my gut reaction is to wonder who's crossing Gundam with Escaflowne. Quote

Keith Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Im thinking it looks kinda looks like Giant Robo. Or, maybe it's a Geschtalt. Tryon-3 was pretty popular. Quote
renegadeleader1 Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Im thinking it looks kinda looks like Giant Robo. Or, maybe it's a Geschtalt. Tryon-3 was pretty popular. I just hope its not an SD Gundam or is looking like one of the mecha from Gurran Lagann with the face as the torso. Quote
Keith Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I just hope its not an SD Gundam or is looking like one of the mecha from Gurran Lagann with the face as the torso. Nah, you can already see a giant v-fin in the pic, the head is definately up top. Quote
electric indigo Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 It looks less medieval now and more like a Gundam with a hint of Nagano: Quote
mikeszekely Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Looking at the waist, looks like the same mechanical designer as 00. Quote
Black Valkyrie Posted July 9, 2015 Author Posted July 9, 2015 May be its half man, half machine Quote
VF-15 Banshee Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 A man-sized Gundam? Now THAT would be a tweest! Quote
azrael Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 May be its half man, half machine And my hopes of a half-Gundam, half-Ball are slowly dying. A Gunball. Quote
mikeszekely Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Not looking like the most structurally sound Gundam (although it could be an "under construction pic"). Quote
electric indigo Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Here we go: The design looks quite good IMO. I see some hints of Linebarrel, a slight Super Robo flavor if you will. Nice idea with the slow reveal, too. Quote
joppewo Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Looks like there's a gap in the middle section.. core fighter perhaps? Quote
VF-15 Banshee Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 There will be a commentary stream for the reveal broadcast about G-Tekketsu tonight, starting at 10:45pm EST. Quote

VF-15 Banshee Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 HOW HYPE AM I FOR THIS NEW SHOW?! HERE IS YOUR ANSWER!! Also, Shot Lancers. :3 Quote
mikeszekely Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Hmm. I still say the mechanical designs look like Gundam 00. I'll definitely watch it; I don't imagine it could be worse than G-Reco. As for the mobile suits... is Krays the official romanization? Reads more like Graze. Anyway, it's kind of simple, maybe a tad boring. As for Barbatos, I don't hate it (I actually really dig the head), but that waist is a glaring weak point. Quote
azrael Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Don't know how much I like the exposed mid-rift and other exposed areas. Quote
