Hikuro Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 I wonder if those EX kits are any difficult? I would imagine you'd have to paint it like any other kit.....but it's cool to see the VinEnRose.
wolfx Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 For the Haruhi fans....this one is the OP sequence with gundam. Man this dude has too much free time. >_< http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3DbKgX1kLQ...gundam%20haruhi
wolfx Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 Holy crap. Big pictures of the Gold Frame Amatu and F91.
port Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 I freaking love the F91. I want that in a PG. That other one has Prince boot
Legend of TSXer Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 Gold Astray has some bling to it, but are the other parts really supposed to be blue? I just hope this lil ammount of bling to the 1/100 Seed series of kits won't kill off Akatsuki's 1/100 chance.
wolfx Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 The blue is the grey parts on the mecha , shown in the lineart on top left. Probably bad lighting or prototype colors. I'm sure they'll look ok once released.

I'm sure they'll look ok once released. 405695 It's more likely the color dye they used when they mixed the mold. Yes, it is grey. I've seen this among the Seed line of models and a few MGs. There's a blue tint to the grey that they use. I've had to correct it a few times to a proper grey. It really isn't the lighting but the dye they use. The dye is probably close to the lineart, but once they mix it in to the plastic, the color is diluted throughout the mold and ends up close but not correct. Many of the MG weapons have a blue or dark grey tint to the black parts, which I often correct to a true black color.

JB0 Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 GUNDAM SALEOk Amazon is having another gundam sale. 1/60 scale Perfect Grade RX-78-2 for $74.98 http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00...0485450-8452038 406159 I like how they're using the Wing Zero Custom for the product picture.
F360° Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Yeah,, they were using that pic for a long while now.. but sure enough if you order you'll be getting what's stated in the title. PG RX-78-2. If only they have some more of those $20 PG Wings and $30 Zaku IIs.
Hikuro Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 lol that's so what I don't need right now since I can barely afford my Garland and pay my car insurance right now.
promethuem5 Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 If only they had the MK II PG.... that's gonna be one of my next big purchases.
theboar Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Anyone know where to get Meteor Unit 1/144 WITHOUT Freedom? I've been searching and searching anywhere in yahoo, google and ebay - nothing. Any suggestion?
Dante74 Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 If only they had the MK II PG.... that's gonna be one of my next big purchases. 406253 That's on my 'things to get' list too. First my PG wing Zero needs to get here though.
promethuem5 Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Here's some WIP shots of my first PG.... I'm in love. Almost everything's matte sealed, and next up is taking it back apart after the photos and weathering On a side note, how are the hands on the PG Gundam and PG MkII? The fingers pop off kinds easily on my GP-01, and I was wondering if the other PGs' hands are a bit more durable....
Twoducks Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Nice stuff!! Did you use GW colours to paint it (I see some pots in the background)?
promethuem5 Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Uhh, it's an interesting mix of paints.... the blues are Apple Barrel craft paints (much better blues that GW for a fraction of the cost,) but the red and yellow and metals are GW, and the white is GW Primer over Krylon Grey Auto Primer with a black inkwash.
port Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Sweet pics man... that fb looks great! Makes want to buy another. That Core Fighter looks great. Keep it up dude.
promethuem5 Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Finsihed pics tomorrow after I finish the gun..... you will love it weaethered.
Ignacio Ocamica Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 It turned out really great!!! I think there's a PG on my buy list now. Thanks for sharing the pics of your work
wolfx Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 I don't know about you guys, but i've been reading hobby magazines and see the Hazel featured alot in them and lately, the Hazel seems to be like a "kibble-bot" fest. The initial "armored" version of Hazel was pretty cool , then the later incarnations came about making it into various forms of Mobile Armour ala Dendrobium, attaching various appendages to the Hazel MS. You get various MA-ed Hazels that look fugly with things sticking out everywhere and "booster-shield" things strapped in every nook and cranny of the MA. Has this become some kinda fan joke where fans attempt to just kibble-lise the Hazel, which is otherwise a pretty nice design?
promethuem5 Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 I dunno about the motives, but I agree... there has been a surge of 'let's see how many things we can cram onto the Hazel frame' kitbashes lately... some good and some... not so. It is a kickass suit otherwise... wish we could get a 1/100 scale kit of it.
Project Phoenix Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 I just finished building the two HGUC Hazel kits bought two weeks ago and are now waiting for the Hrududu add on to be shipped to my home. Hopefully by then I can complete the actual "final" form of the Hazels. I really dig these two kits. A little small, but they look cool in my book. I only wish they were bigger.
kensei Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 All done!! 407311 Wait a minute, you're new to the Gundam scene right? How the hell did you score a PG Zephyranthes?
Hikuro Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 It's not really that difficult if you look around on the internet, ebay, online stores, etc etc....some places still have 'em in stock.
promethuem5 Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Wait a minute, you're new to the Gundam scene right? How the hell did you score a PG Zephyranthes? Relatively new... I started getting into Gundam like 3 months ago with 8th MS Team.... I got my PG off of www.gundamstoreandmore.com for my birthday in April. Actually, I bought it some time in January and it sat around till my b-day. I'm gonna get a PG MkII and the Glorious Series 1/60 scale Rick Dom next

wolfx Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 AMATU!!! Though the stock grey is really bothering me. It has to be changed.
kensei Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 All that we need to complete the trio is a Red Frame with a Mars Jacket. It looks puny compared to the other two Frames.
