ruskiiVFaussie Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Hmm, i dunno if i'll bother getting it for me bro now seeing how they can't fit the gun in normally. Just like me getting the Movie line of Eva's only to find out they don't have the sheaths to store the swords in. >_< Lame!
Lynx7725 Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Considering how small these are, and the cost, I'm willing to put up with multiple cannons and the lack of the leg being able to close with the gun in it. Think of the bad-ass poses you can do with these things!!! In one of the pics, it looked like they are giving us a left gun-gripping hand too. If that is true, with the multiple cannons, think of how a two-gun-slinging Alphonse would look -- especially if you had bought the earlier Alphonse.
promethuem5 Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 I would thoroughly enjoy a gunslinger Alphonse... that's why I said I wanted just the new hands
malakite Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 New series by Kaiyodo under their Revoltech line!! Assemble Borg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc153/p...xtreme/ass1.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc153/p...xtreme/ass2.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc153/p...xtreme/ass3.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc153/p...xtreme/ass4.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc153/p...xtreme/ass5.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc153/p...xtreme/ass6.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc153/p...xtreme/ass7.jpg (sorry for not linking it here directly, the pics looks alittle large.) Link here: http://www.toyskingdom.com.hk/forum/viewth...;extra=page%3D1 Looks good.....
wolfx Posted December 7, 2007 Author Posted December 7, 2007 Since revoltech is coming out with a gurren lagann....i wonder if the fraulein line will come up with a Yoko. Konami has a Yoko MMS coming out.
ruskiiVFaussie Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 That figure and bike... wow. If it's sameish size as Revy Revy, i'll grab one. :-) I am kinda over Revoltechs for now, YF-21 1/60 has shocked me into submission and anything else is just.. miehhh.
Lynx7725 Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Just for kicks, there's apparently this special version of a Revoltech.. http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/robots/the-actu...obot-324507.php
eriku Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 New series by Kaiyodo under their Revoltech line!! Assemble Borg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc153/p...xtreme/ass1.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc153/p...xtreme/ass2.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc153/p...xtreme/ass3.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc153/p...xtreme/ass4.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc153/p...xtreme/ass5.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc153/p...xtreme/ass6.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc153/p...xtreme/ass7.jpg (sorry for not linking it here directly, the pics looks alittle large.) Link here: http://www.toyskingdom.com.hk/forum/viewth...;extra=page%3D1 Looks good..... Wow...talk about pulling a Microman. Right down to the translucent colored plastic. Not my thing, but looks like it should be a fun series.
promethuem5 Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Never been a fan of the chrome-headed translucent plastic generic nonsensical design ethos either, but I think the clear look works better for RTs as it is fun to see the assembly and cleverness of the RT joints. If nothing else, hopefully the simplest humanoid figs with minimal accessories will be nice and cheap so I can buy them for their plethora of RT joints...
ruskiiVFaussie Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 (edited) Anyone else had the idea of using RT joints for other figures (even non poseable ones) and converting them to have Revotech poseablility? I just bought myself Vol 2 Kill Bill Beatrix and Elle movie replica figures and i have totally fallen in love with them. I'd kill for some Revoltech posability for those babes. Ohh that would totally kick ass! Edited December 9, 2007 by ruskiiVFaussie
Fort Max Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 The transforming bike looks sweet and so do some of the (presumably) enemy figures.
David Hingtgen Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 I don't want to read through 40 pages to find an answer: Kaiyodo figs often include multiple heads etc for different expressions. Is this feature possible with the Fraulein Revoltech line? (I'm basically asking if it's possible to do a head-swap within the line)
eriku Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 I don't want to read through 40 pages to find an answer: Kaiyodo figs often include multiple heads etc for different expressions. Is this feature possible with the Fraulein Revoltech line? (I'm basically asking if it's possible to do a head-swap within the line) Unless the neck joints are different, I don't see why not. I was actually going to swap Rei and Revy's heads just for fun, and to see what Rei would look like with a more, er, womanly body.
David Hingtgen Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 If you try it, please let me know if it works.
eriku Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 And you guys thought you were only going to have to buy ONE Danboard figure...think again! http://members9.tsukaeru.net/ty1_toys/sakuhin/DANBOARD.htm
ruskiiVFaussie Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 hahah cool. So Amazon.com.jp is part of the anime/manga?? Very cool. Why not HLJ.com as a store special or somthing?
eriku Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 hahah cool. So Amazon.com.jp is part of the anime/manga?? Very cool. Why not HLJ.com as a store special or somthing? I'm not sure if Amazon is part of the Manga but the Amazon Danboard is a variant of the regular 'clean box' Danboard. And yes, a HLJ variant would be very cool.
Lynx7725 Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 (edited) Just to let you guys know, HLJ has shipped my Helldivers. I expect it before Christmas. Heh, eriku, I beat you to posting links to that here, but nobody bothers to listen to me..... Edited December 18, 2007 by Lynx7725
crasis Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Sweet! I didn't think these would be out yet. These Revoltech figures are like crack, I swear... I can't stop ordering them.
eriku Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Just to let you guys know, HLJ has shipped my Helldivers. I expect it before Christmas. Heh, eriku, I beat you to posting links to that here, but nobody bothers to listen to me..... Really? I saw your link to the Danboard but I didn't see any posts linking to the 5-Danboard combiner.
Lynx7725 Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Really? I saw your link to the Danboard but I didn't see any posts linking to the 5-Danboard combiner. My bad -- the Danboard I did link, but the combiner Danboard, yours. Cool idea though, I wonder if there are any others we can replicate it with.
Mowe Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 That is a very clever modification. It looks like he attached spare part of the upper legs from an other Cardbo to the arm. Very clever.
Dante74 Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 So when's the normal Danboard due to be released? Can't find it at HLJ and I want to wait untill it's available before I order a couple of Revoltech's.
Graham Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Just saw the Helldiver and Brocken in the shops here for HK$95 each (US$12.18), but decided to pass due to serious shortage of money and lack of space. I may break down later and pick up a Helldiver for shits and giggles. Even though I'm not a fan of PVC dog poo toys, I do love Helldivers. Graham
malakite Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Got me my helldivers and a brocken over the weekend Didn't want the Brocken at first, but then the fella offered me the Red exclusive and I said, What the hell.......
yellowlightman Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 I really can't be buying any new toys right now, but damn that Helldiver looks sweet.
promethuem5 Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 I've ot two Helldivers and a normal Brocken on the way..... super excited.
promethuem5 Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 Got my 'Divers and Brocken today... good thing I got two HellDivers, bc/ one's got super loose joints and is missing some of the alternate hands. That one will need some work, tho I'm not too concerned about the hands, as I've got two figs. They both looks stupendous tho, and the tight one is a blast to pose. Both are way looser than my Ingram and Brocken fig tho, so I wonder if there's not a running looseness there... The Brocken is pure artistically sculpted super articulated porn. Simple amazing looking and feeling, the Brocken might overall be the most posable RT after the Evas... just wish it had some accessories. Overall, very happy with all three...
eriku Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 I know it's not the most anticipated Revoltech figure for most people, but I'm very happy that HLJ sent me a 'shipping' email for Fraulien Rei. Hooray! Or is that "hoorei!"?
Lynx7725 Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 And now for some old news... These have been outstanding for a long time, but I've only gotten around to taking these photos today. Enjoy! Blade to Blade: The base is of course not part of the Revoltech line, but adding it makes the two stands out more IMO. And something for our usual Valk habit: "Hey, that's my gunpod!" Only Focker can pull this off and look good doing it. And, because I like to pimp this whenever I have the chance:
ruskiiVFaussie Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 Great pics man. Thanks for the effort!
UN Spacy Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Now I've seen it all. Revoltech SHIRTS?!?!?!? Who's getting one? http://www.amiami.com/shop/ProductInfo/product_id/89234
ruskiiVFaussie Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 hahaha, i'll pass, but cool idea deffinently. I gather there is no print on the back so mehhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
