Heeeeeeey, be easy on the 1/60. The robot modes may suck but their jet modes are good. A great way to have a good fighter mode without forking out for more 1/48s.

Yamato has supplied me with 10 so far, but I'd like to expand this collection in the near future. I plan to pick up extra hours at work just for that reason.

On top of my Yamato collection I have all the Bandai 1/55th and 1/65th reissues, one Bandai VF-19 model kit, and one Banpresto VF-1S Strike.

I got lots o' valks (clearly not nearly as many as some of the others) and the 1/60 is my least favorite. Maybe it's because I had my 1/48s before I ever got a 1/60 but I think it has more to do with how it needs to be assembled to switch from one mode to the next. For some reason that entirely spoils all the magic the valk has for me. I think I enjoy my Joons more... (nah... probably not). I'm glad I have the one, it does look sharp in fighter mode in my display case, but I'll never understand why so many members here have hard-ons for these things. I have a similar lack of love for the Bandai reissues... I think they could have made some major improvements and if they had Toynami would have had nothing going for it. As it is, it's either vintage or 1/48 for me from here on out.

you yourself bought the DYRL stand from me, i sold 2, 1/60 GBP armors, i got rid of 2 or 3 sets of clear FP covers, all my 1/55's, a gakken cyclone, the 19A, a 1/48 third issue roy, a 1/48 1S hikaru, a 1/60 1S hikaru and other numerous things.

as i said, the numbers don't reflect it but thats quite a bit of stuff i sold off. not to mention all the other stuff i sold off to fund my vegas trip before that.

BTW, why are you keeping tabs on what i've bought and sold?

as far as the what i sold the 1S hikkie for, i didn't sell it complete, i parted it out so that other people could fix their valks. same goes for the 3rd issue roy.

i figured i could sell it, then one person would have a valk, or i could part it out and 7-8 people could fix their valks, i chose the latter being the hippie i've become lately.
