Apollo Leader Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Simply incredible! I use to make ficticious aircraft and mecha out of legos all the time so I sure appreciate this guys creativity. Quote
Mr March Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 I'm stunned! I think this is more impressive than the lego Star Destroyer. He even has fighters and life boats included. Amazing! Quote
Veritas Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 That is downright amazing! I don't know if i could justify spending over a year building it though, but boy am i happy someone else could. Quote
reddsun1 Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 HOLY FREAKIN CRAP!!-RF 380774 My thoughts exactly... Quote

JELEINEN Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 I've been following his progress on this for quite a while. The ship is just amazing. The planes are okay and would make a good sets in terms of playability, but don't really match the modeling he's doing on the ship. BTW, make sure you click on the "Next" at the bottom to see all the pics. Quote
Mr March Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 My thanks JELEINEN! I didn't even notice that! The interiors are even better. I've never seen anything like this. Quote
Murphy Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 i would love to see the blueprints for that thing if the guy made them Quote
kalvasflam Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Impressive, this blows away the LEGO stardestroyer. Absolutely amazing. Quote
Neova Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 (edited) That is amazing. Now I want to see Haterist or any other MW lego guy build up the SDF-1 or at least an ARMD on lego scale! If I was only filthy stinking rich, I would have one commissioned for display! Edited March 16, 2006 by Neova Quote

mechaninac Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Can someone please pick my jaw off the floor?! Quote
JELEINEN Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 This guy is still my all time favorite builder (I posted his space battleship Yamato before): http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=junlego If he ever gets his real Yamato done, it will be the most amazing LEGO build ever. Quote
Pat Payne Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 This is an amazing job. Very well done. And it's a durn sight more intersting than that Lego air conditioner someone built once... The man deserves an award for creativity and perseverance. Quote
Nightbat Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Doesn't it collapse under it's own weight or something??? Awesome! Quote
F-ZeroOne Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Thats just... just... just... ...thats insane! Quote

EXO Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 This guy definitely does not have kids!! 380764 o rly 380824 OMG... in his spare time, he decapitates kids and stuffs them in his lego creations. That is truly sick! The ship I mean... not the headless kids. Quote
rnurmin Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Wow Wow WOWWW Ok, that's it. Why didn't I spend more time playing Legos when I was young Quote
JELEINEN Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Doesn't it collapse under it's own weight or something???Awesome! 380979 super glue maybe? that is awesome 380999 Not needed. As long as he's not carrying the whole thing around, I imagine it'll hold up quite well. And for transporting, he made it in sections, so that's probably not too bad either. Quote
Zentrandude Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 I like the pinball machine one. wonder if the ball would knock any of peices off. Quote
JELEINEN Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 I wonder what that thing cost. Legos are pretty expensive, even if you could buy them in bulk somehow. And the specialized pieces like the plane canopies usually come 1 or 2 per 20-30 buck set, more likely 1. 381066 For special pieces, you buy them off bricklink.com. Quote

Graham Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Damn, that guy should try building an ARMD carrier or either the Prometheus or the Daedalus. Graham Quote
Nightbat Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 The more pages I saw the more I was convinced this guy should die! ...Hey, don't look so shocked! We crucified jesus, didn't we? Quote
