This has been a most useful thread to be sure. But...still no ideas as to where to get a high quality scan of the cutaway from the inside of the book? I am going to try and make this something to put in my room/office, so the one with the huge page seam isn't going to work I'm afraid.

Maybe if they come out with a second print run or something I can pick another one up and take it apart.

Is the co-pilots side window incorrect on the Aoshima Dropship? The manual diagrams have it shaped differently.

Yeah, the Aoshima is right here.

The gunner's canopy glass is the same on both sides and looks like this:

Ya know what? I was rewatching Aliens tonight, and checked some of my reference photos, and it turns out that the gunners canopy glass IS asymetrical. So, the cutaway and orthographic dropships in the technical manual are correct for the port side. The Aoshima is the one in the wrong.

Yeah, I've got the Halcyon dropship, and the windows are asymetrical.

Ye gawds, I remember having this book in my hand at the bookstore on numerous occasions about 5-6 years ago, and simply not taking the plunge. Wish I had.
