VF-0S FAN Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 I'll be there this year as I was in 2003 and 2004. I look forward to playing the Nintendo Revolution... Quote
Rocket Punch Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Just create fake business cards and fake W-2s and submit an application. Quote
Gunbuster Posted March 7, 2006 Author Posted March 7, 2006 You are kidding me, right? Just create fake business cards and fake W-2s and submit an application. 377397[/snapback] Quote
Rocket Punch Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Haven't gone in a few years but it worked back then. Heck back then the on-site registration area was unsupervised - all you had to do was walk up to a registration computer, enter random reg numbers, and put your name on the professional registration list. Also, there are always people hanging out in the parking lot on the last day asking folks if they could have/buy their badges. You could do that if you're really desperate to go. Quote
Jasonc Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 I want to go very badly this year. If anyone has tickets, and looking for a buddy to go, or is selling a ticket, let me know. I'm working hard to get in, and I don't want to pay the $400+ for the registration. Quote
Solscud007 Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 they are cracking down on Applicants. Video Game store employees are being denied. Quote
Ishimaru Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 (edited) I might go this time since out of nowhere I couldnt find a date. Edit:$400 freaken dollars to get in what a $&!@#^ rip off! Edited March 24, 2006 by Dean Quote
Gunbuster Posted March 24, 2006 Author Posted March 24, 2006 All i can tell you is that this e3 will be crazy, with nintendo revolution and ps3 there. the revolution will announce their launch titles and they said there will be alot of them Quote
BoBe-Patt Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 sweet, I just registered yesterday. So I hope I can get in. Quote
Chewie Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Good luck to anyone without EXPLICITLY legit credentials this year. I got to go last year off my W-2s and other creds from the cyber-cade I worked at. Everything was great. I got the registration info for this year as-per the "if you've gone before we send you an invite every year after that" thing they like doing. Sent it back. Got an email then a letter not to long ago saying"Our records indicate you are longer an employee for Nexus Gaming Centers. We are sorry to inform you that without proper identification and documention that you will not be allowed to attend this year's E3 event." Needless to say, I am pretty pissed. I am pretty sure blood samples are going to be part of it next year. It's getting silly. So again, good luck. =( - C Quote
Ishimaru Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Ok why not just let everyone in the event I mean this is stupid.. It makes no sense to be in a company, do they want to lose money or are just stupid? I mean they probaly think it will be overcrowded I bet, but I bet not. Quote
Eternal_D Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 like the seafood shows I go to...it's only for industry people as in people in the business of catching, farming, processing, exporting, importing, distribution, wholesale, and retail. Not for those who eat it. I doubt the people who run this are loosing any money. the people at Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, etc pay for it don't they? and it was probably those people who requested that there be less non-industry ppl. I would have liked to gone, but I understand why something like this would happen. If attendance is low this year, they probably switch it up again next year. Quote
Gunbuster Posted May 11, 2006 Author Posted May 11, 2006 (edited) did anyone make it into the nintendo Wii room? the line was so long, i couldn't breathe .. I'll try tomorrow morning ;; Edited May 11, 2006 by Gunbuster Quote
DeeLux Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Even thought the show has come and gone, I wanted to share the pictures I shot while at E3. My company is loosly related to the industry so thats why I've been able to attend for the last few years. Enjoy! DeeLux E3 Galleries Quote
