Bh-05 R. Jetter (arjetan ?)

Recommended Posts

A few days ago I got a "virgin" MIB BH-05 "Arjetan" in from a seller in Japan.

All I have to say is "DAYUM!" It's a shame that Bandai didn't helm the

migration of their "Machine Robo" (Gobots) line here in the states because

this toy and his sidekick Machblaster (BH-02) kick major henkei tail.

I'll let the pics do the talking for me on this one:

The item I received:

The Weapon System with ammo:

R. Jetter with Machblaster in gun mode:

This thing is a piece of transformable art. It has three different shooting weapons

(That are battery powered and not at all pet or eye friendly...) and a remarkably well engineered transformation scheme especially in the legs. And last but hardly

least it stands as tall as a Yammie VF-1 1/48. So not only is well designed it is

also freaking huge.

Next time I will post some pics of Machblaster.

Till next time...

I think it's less about who helmed it and more than GoBots was already dead by the time Battle Hackers came out, IIRC. My favorite MR toy ever Baikanfu (or however you choose to romanize than) didn't come out here either. Sadface. At least we got the DX GoBots, which are awesome (well, not the crap ones based on the show, but the metal cars and the semi).

those white bbs 6mm like in airsoft?

Yeah I think they are the same but made of hard plastic.

The hopper holds the entire bag of shot and by God does throw them out at

velocity. I'm talking like across the room with all three weapons. There is

no way in hell that this thing would have passed safety laws in the us

unless the age on the box was like 10 and up.

RE: The Gobots fate.

I agree that Tonka had blown it by the time this toy was released (1987) and

Hasbro/Marvel really knew what they were doing right out of the gate with

Transformers. Also when this toy came out I was like 13, which meant it would

not have aged nearly as well as the one I have now.
