Seriously, though, trying to keep track of which streaming service has which show I want to watch is getting to be a hassle.  I'm *this* close to cancelling all 8 or 9 of 'em and signing up for cable.

40th Anniversary Voltron.

I mean, I had Voltron toys as a kid, so I see the appeal. But I was never as into Voltron as much as Transformers or even GoBots, so I feel like my SoC GoLion is probably enough for my collection.

I don't see why anyone would pay that kind of money to Toynami for an outdated design. If they release the original godaikin mold, sure, but this after we have the SOC, threezero, and Blitzway? No thank you.

Same here. I actually sold my original Toynami with the book box to fund the 50th SOC Golion I was able to preorder for a decent price (for much less than the SRP for this new/old toynami). Since it just stays in my display cabinet and I don't really "play" with my "toys" these days, I'm content with having just this one in my collection... so shiny

On a different note, I really wish Mini Action Toys would release the all plastic Lion Force version soon. I need an ultra cheap Voltron that I can display in their separate lion forms that won't take up a lot of display space. It's been almost a year since preorders went up for the Vehicle version that was released earlier this year.

I had that design, and I hated it. The wings are too skinny, the overall robot is too lanky, blue and yellow lions have that weird "hump" in their backs, and the face just looks utterly off. I ended up getting the original Trendmasters reissue of Matchbox Voltron and upgrading that via kitbash to SoC standards.

by any case somebody knows if the lions have diecast ?, I saw somewhere that there is a diecast version and other made of plastic from Toynami, the description mentions plastic and other materials , Im kinda interested but I dont want to spend 300 bucks on a pure plastic version, for pure plastic  I already POd the Playmates 5 pack lion boxset

Of course, she can't even make a new animated series.
They tried that Robotech Academy, which didn't even manage to raise money, as it was a continuation, an inter-series event, a prequel, to the Masters saga.
They could have done a reboot, like what happened with Voltron.
