But so many stores quit selling them. ...plus, then I'd have to get up, put the disc in, go back to the couch, watch the disc, get up, change the disc... Seriously, though, trying to keep track of which streaming service has which show I want to watch is getting to be a hassle. I'm *this* close to cancelling all 8 or 9 of 'em and signing up for cable. TangledThorns Posted October 12 Posted October 12 Wouldn't surprise me if Henry plays a villain like Emperor Zoltan. That being said, does this mean no WH40K?? ☹️ Quote
sh9000 Posted October 13 Posted October 13 If I see this on sale at Hallmark I might pick one up. Quote
mikeszekely Posted October 14 Posted October 14 40th Anniversary Voltron. I mean, I had Voltron toys as a kid, so I see the appeal. But I was never as into Voltron as much as Transformers or even GoBots, so I feel like my SoC GoLion is probably enough for my collection. Quote
locidm Posted October 14 Posted October 14 I don't see why anyone would pay that kind of money to Toynami for an outdated design. If they release the original godaikin mold, sure, but this after we have the SOC, threezero, and Blitzway? No thank you. Quote

I actually sold my original Toynami with the book box to fund the 50th SOC Golion I was able to preorder for a decent price (for much less than the SRP for this new/old toynami). Since it just stays in my display cabinet and I don't really "play" with my "toys" these days, I'm content with having just this one in my collection... so shiny Edited October 15 by m0n5t3r Quote
m0n5t3r Posted October 15 Posted October 15 On a different note, I really wish Mini Action Toys would release the all plastic Lion Force version soon. I need an ultra cheap Voltron that I can display in their separate lion forms that won't take up a lot of display space. It's been almost a year since preorders went up for the Vehicle version that was released earlier this year. Quote

The wings are too skinny, the overall robot is too lanky, blue and yellow lions have that weird "hump" in their backs, and the face just looks utterly off. I ended up getting the original Trendmasters reissue of Matchbox Voltron and upgrading that via kitbash to SoC standards. Edited November 27 by pengbuzz Quote

Of course, she can't even make a new animated series. They tried that Robotech Academy, which didn't even manage to raise money, as it was a continuation, an inter-series event, a prequel, to the Masters saga. They could have done a reboot, like what happened with Voltron. Quote
