I have been debating on getting this. Of course I have heard and based on the synopsis, this is pretty much Noir reloaded... or am I wrong? I saw the previews and it looks better than Noir IMO. So is this a good anime to get?

I haven't seen all or even really much of this, but what I have seen is pretty good. The animation is pretty good, and the music is amazing, but Yuki Kajiura also did the music for noir, so its similar. The story starts out pretty confusing as to whats going on behind the scenes, but I'm sure it lets you in on whats happening before it ends. I'd go ahead and take a look at it if I were you.

I agree. But I'd say if you liked Noir..... this should be better.

Interesting story and concept....but total trash of events happening in the end that doesn't make sense But good resolution. Don't mind the plot holes.

My wife and I loved Noir but Madlax couldn't keep us interested. I've watched the first 2 or 3 dvd's and was bored out of my mind.

Noir was great till the end. From the previews I saw on ADV, it looked good. I was nearly close in getting it and the Macross re-release.

Actually you'd probably get more enjoyment out of it, if it was a laxative. I have only seen the first 5 dvds so I can't comment on the end of the series, but the first 4 dvds the plot goes absolutely nowhere, and #5 gets mildly interesting. I would call this a NOIR clone but the problem is I liked NOIR, and this series is just blah.
