Hayao Kakizaki Posted December 29, 2005 Author Posted December 29, 2005 god, that looks awesome, the new hands for it are a definite improvment. by the way is it just me or did they seriously improve the stickers for this toy?chris 355921 the sticker are the same quality, but I always feel it's good~ Quote
Mechamaniac Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Holy Crap! I cannot wait to get mine now! Quote
Hayao Kakizaki Posted December 29, 2005 Author Posted December 29, 2005 Thanks for the Pics. How well does the armor stay on? Esp the cod and hip pieces. Is there a detailed sticker guide in the instructions? Speaking of stickers we need custom stickers for the GBP. 355922 VERY STIFF~!! forget the 1/60~ yes, it have detailed sticker guide, I just follow the guide to put it on, and have large amount of sticker for you to put it on as you like. UN Spacy Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 You rock my socks Hayao Kakizaki! Thanks!EDIT: Can you give us a pic of the crotch area with the removable piece? 355918 IS that the following post fullfill your's ? 355971 Yeah. Your pics pretty much covered it. Thanks for ALL the great pics Hayao! Quote
Hayao Kakizaki Posted December 29, 2005 Author Posted December 29, 2005 You are gonna make me cry.... I want mine so badly now. I'd also like to know if the forarm missiles come out, and see some more shots of the waist area. And Zero-Mare, i'm with you, the stickers do look alot better in these pictures. Hayao, are the stickers for this different from Yamato's usual stickers? 355926 just the same, but always good~! Quote
Hayao Kakizaki Posted December 29, 2005 Author Posted December 29, 2005 How is the range of movement for the arms and legs with the armor on? Is it able to scrunch up like it is getting ready to fire all the missles at once? 355938 the movablity are decrease, but still can move and got stiff, and you said that action, I think it can, but maybe not 100% as your imagine Quote
UN Spacy Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Does it tend to lean backwards? I've often found that problem with the Super/Strike armor. Quote
Hayao Kakizaki Posted December 29, 2005 Author Posted December 29, 2005 THIS TIME THE BALANCE VERY WELL~! Quote
1/1 LowViz Lurker Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Ah yummy. Thanks for the detailed pics. Those new hands look really nice. Could you get a pic of a valk with the hands but not wearing the GBP armor? Thanks. I wish yamato made these the standard for the non-gbp valks. Maybe include those chicken hands too. The tv valks get clown hands plus the chicken, so the DYRL should get chicken + GBP hands to be even, I say. Quote

Graham Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Good review. I was going to take some photos and write a review of mine today, but I think there is no need now as your photos are so good. Graham Quote
Valkyrie Hunter D Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Cripes... ok, I'm sold. Great pics! I think I'll have to get two sets now, one for default colors, and another for a set in dark army green. Quote
1 VF-1 2NV Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 I think Hayao is a Yamato employee . Quote
SDFcommander Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Hayao Kakizaki, I said this in the other thread, but Fantastic job on the sticker application! I know that Yamato stickers although pre-cut have to be trimmed down A LOT. I can appreciate the time it took! You must have pulled an all nighter. Again, good show! Quote
wolfx Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Hey kakizaki..... Did you cut the stickers up abit or are those stock stickers? The stickers look really nice now.....unlike usual yamato stickers. Quote
promethuem5 Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Photos are perfect, and DAMN the new hands are gorgeous. Someone's gotta recast those suckers so I can put them on all my valks from now on. Quote
rnurmin Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Hayao: Awesome, thank you for the pics Quote
EXO Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Man... I can't stop clicking! I've been looking at this for a couple of hours now! I believe those hands are way too huge on the valk without the armor though... I say Eternal D should redo his hands to look like these! lol. Quote
doodler7 Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Gundamn it, that's dope! Already I see you peeps super-detailing and weathering these armor pieces. Hayao (Yamato employee or not) ... I think someone asked earlier about whether if the weight of the armor will force the battloid to fall back or not ... but don't you guys think that since there is no guarantee that the ankle joints for all valkyries will be tight enough to support fast packs, (and now the GBP) ... that it'll be a possibility for yamato to have some add-on that will add stability to that battloid mode? This "ankle/foot brace" will be deep & wide, and will have some extension that braces on the rear bottoms of the leg armors. And the brace should elevate the battloid up to 3/4" to an 1" inch ... to tower over battloids without the GBP ... this would really work well and accentuate the heaviness and the "bad-ass-ness" of the GBP armor. What do you guys think? Quote
Jin_Kune_Do Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Holy poo! Damm....i am so glad i ordered 10 of those MoFo´s hehehe...The VF-1S GBP looks really badass scary, almost sounds like its saying "Do You Feel Lucky Punk...Well Do Ya?" Damm....cant wait for mine, only then will it be Xmas for me Thanks for the awsome detailed pictures. - Jin Quote
Veritas Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Noice pictures and thanks for the review. Boy am i happy we're not getting a reissue of the mess that the 1/60 GBP was. I hated even getting near mine, i was afraid even the slightest change in the enviorment would have armor pieces falling off. Quote
Bub Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Thank you very much Hayao! Awsome pictures! Quote
Nani?! Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 hayao, very nice review indeed. The hands are amazing... I think I should just get 4 vf-0s (down one) and get the vf-1j and gbp... still think the chest looks like big boobs but it looks pretty badass head on. Again hayao much thanks for the great effort! Quote
DatterBoy Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Hayao, Any chance you can get us some shots of the side armor insert with out the GBP? I want to see what it makes the valk look like when the space is filled. Thanks! Quote

Hayao Kakizaki Posted December 30, 2005 Author Posted December 30, 2005 Has anyone wondered how the GBP will look like in a MAX or MILLIA paint scheme? 356162 you mean that? or you want a fully repaint of GBP-1S? Quote
