terry the lone wolf Posted October 1, 2003 Author Posted October 1, 2003 Forget Catwoman, this should be the next Superhero movie nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!! Anybody but them!!!! Quote
Weaseldancer Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 I want a Chronic and Bluntman movie. I just don't get why people think Halle Berry is such a good actress. Anyone that gets outacted by Robin Givens can never be considered a good actress in my book. Quote
Isamu Atreides 86 Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 I want a Chronic and Bluntman movie. as long as theres no James Van der Beek and Jason Biggs in the staring roles, it oculd be blunt-tastic! Quote
bsu legato Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 I found this short synopsis over at DarkHorizons.com: "Patience Price, a mild mannered graphic artist, is murdered in order to keep her silent about an accidental discovery she made. An ancient myth is played out, when an Egyptian Mao cat, indebted to Patience for saving her it's own life, breathes life back into the young woman. Patience is reborn with an independent attitude, carefree behavior and the heightened senses of a cat. Now she must investigate the circumstances behind her murder and learn to accept both parts of herself". *yawn* Quote
Blaine23 Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 Barf... bring on Ace and Gary! They're just good friends! Quote
Hikuro Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 With THAT sort of a plot, I'd rather see a Gary and Ace movie or Bluntman and Chronic, BRING ON KEVIN SMITH AND THE BLUNT SAVERS!!!! Oh yes, maybe mark hamil too? Quote
Mechwarrior Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 Personally, could care less who plays catwomen, not a big fan of that feline freak, but I do think Halle Berry is sexy and acting is ok. I think that's the reason she was casted, for guys like me who find her attractive and might go see it just because she is in it. Quote
Agent ONE Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 Forget Catwoman, this should be the next Superhero movie They actually made this into a TV show! They changed the story a little to make it less interesting and more annoying though, instead of having two gay guys, they had one guy that was the gay-est sissy man to ever live, sort of a cross between Elton John and Barney. The show was called Macross 7. Quote

bsu legato Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 Look, we all know this is just going to be a movie within the existing movie continuity. Quote
the white drew carey Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 Wb released this image of Halle Berry's costume for Catwoman. purrrrrrrr: [Comic Book Guy]"Worst... Catwoman... Costume... rocco_77 Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 (edited) Stupid, stupid, stooopid costume... That is the worst Catwoman I have ever seen.... And I thought Catwoman was a blonde vixen? No offense to Hally, but come on! LAME.. Edited October 1, 2003 by rocco_77 Quote
kanata67 Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 they never should have killed of joker in the first movie... just what the heck were they thinking? As for the second and third movies... I personally would like to see "the dark knight returns" made into a flick with sean connery playing an old wayne, but thats just me. As for the hally thing... mindless comercialism at it greatest. J lo would have had more appeal and made more sense demographically speaking. Now here is something to purr about... Quote
myk Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 (edited) Amen to that...... Also, I'm not surprised by the sudden ethnicity change. Didn't they do the same thing with the Green Lantern? Sorry, but I don't follow DC.... Edited October 1, 2003 by myk Quote
kanata67 Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 Kanata, she too looks trashy. hally, the one in my pic, or both Quote
Mr March Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 What the heck is happening to this thread? SNL characters and smut? This is weird Quote

GobotFool Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 I like halle, that pic of J-lo looks like it came from the front of a porno box Quote
UN Spacy Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 Kanata, she too looks trashy. Let's keep this topic on track......and if Catwoman was a whore Jenna Jameson would fit right in. It'd pick Charlize Theron or Ashley Judd, they have that confident persona that'd make the roll theirs. B) Quote
Golden Arms Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 (edited) The Dark Returns would be an awesome Movie. Good Suggestion Kanata. BTW DC did have a black GL. From My understanding Catwoman in this film is going to have some superhuman abilities of some sort. So what if they change Catwomans ethnicity. Its great that minorities are finally starting to get some roles that have systematically been denied to them. Edited October 2, 2003 by Golden Arms Quote
kanata67 Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 britiny spears??? perhaps the chick who played dark angel? Quote
estacado06479 Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 first of all let's face it, halle berry isnt exactly black, now if they made latifah the next catwoman, or that woman from how stella got her groove back, that would be hiring someone ethnic... I know that mulattos are classified as black in certain circles, but i think full blooded people might have something to say about it. as a "halfie" myself, i know that full blooded hispanics (in my case i', half ecuadorian, half german) would have a problem with me being a cultural spokesperson, look at christina aguillerra, she was universally panned when she first hit the scene by almost all the hispanic community. and j-lo, she might as well not be puerto rican, she cant even speak spanish! anyways...sorry if i offended anyone Quote
EXO Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 I personally would like to see "the dark knight returns" made into a flick with sean connery playing an old wayne, but thats just me. "The name ish wayne, broosh wayne." Actually, catwoman ethnicity and hair color has always varied. Following Julie Newmar was Eartha Kitt in the old 60's series. (60s, right?) And Ashley Judd was originally oficially in line for this role, somewhere down the line she must've dropped out. Now Charlize Theron, that's a good pick. Hell, I'd watch if they made Charlize Theron Bruce Wayne... Quote
Abombz!! Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 And Ashley Judd was originally oficially in line for this role, somewhere down the line she must've dropped out. Perhaps she realized this movie wasn't about husbands that somehow do something wrong and the wife has to deal with everything. <_< Quote

MrDisco Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 Bleh. I'm getting sick of comic book movies altogether. What's Hollywood going to do once they've strip mined the comic industry and run out of ideas? they'll strip mine anime Quote
Sarensaas Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 Halle doesn't have that natural devious look. Jaime Pressley does; she could make for a great catwoman, looks hot(Posion Ivy 3...I rest my case), and was a gymnast. Jessica Alba and Kate Beckinsale were also good mentions... Quote
