Gunbuster Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 It’s awesome, they used like 99.9% all in game animations and can you image the time they planned for the fights! http://uploads.ungrounded.net/276000/276650_MKvsSF2.swf Quote
Mr March Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Very entertaining, but the ending was disappointing. I was really hoping it would go somewhere. Still, it was hilarious to see the fight and the two different series of characters on the same battleground. Quote
Twoducks Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Stupid dialog and questionable ending aside, the fight was freaking awesome!! Quote
wolfx Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 (edited) Hey...that is pretty cool. Some ppl have too much time in their hands. But the whole sakura x ryu thing, i wonder if such a sprite exists where they hug and kiss....or did he do that himself. Edited December 21, 2005 by wolfx Quote
JB0 Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 The best is still the live-action King of Fighters... http://www.youtube.com/watch.php?v=HZM9uuPj8kU http://www.youtube.com/watch.php?v=qXfgiOx-GDY No, I don't know where to get the original videos, though I used to. Quote
myk Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 That clip in itself was better than the Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat movies. Maybe I'll contact those people and ask them to make one on DOA and.....Soul Caliber, or something, to counteract the upcoming DOA movie... Quote

ComicKaze Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Hmm, since they were in the MK world, the damage effects should have been MK spurting blood and not the annoying SF3 strike splotches. Disappointed Akuma didn't pull his (what's it called again?) final move. Quote

They were console MK, though, so it was sweat. Disappointed Akuma didn't pull his (what's it called again?) final move. 354005 Shun Goku Satsu! Speaking of moves... I laughed at Sakura's hyper moves. Quote

Max Jenius Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Aw, I was hoping there would be more to it than that. Kinda neat fight. It sucked though seeing my two favorite characters from each series fight though, I didn't want either one to die lol. Quote
Kin Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 Nice. 354139 doh! I want fatality! cool avatar lol Quote
Jolly Rogers Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 When did Scorpion gain the ability to slide?! Quote

It's still a pain in the butt, though. And they probably had to do some hand-editing of the sprites to make 'em fit right. Quote
Cruel Angel's Thesis Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 Well he has this up on Newgrounds and according to him he used over 2,000 sprites, and reached the Flash frame limit (16,000 frames). For most of the battle one second was about a hour of work and consdiering the battle is nearly 3 minutes long thats a lot of work. He does has a couple of easter eggs, to get to them fasest just watch the credits, after 2 times the ending is different and after 5 times you get some additional background in the fight. Just something to look at really, even a call to the first one he did which had Ken and Radien going at it. Thats up on Newgrounds as well. I personally think though Ryu should've handed Scorpion his booty in a sack. But thats just me. Check out the first one. http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/239473 Cruel Angel's Thesis Quote
BoBe-Patt Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 that pretty toit!! I just barely watched it!!! Quote

WEAK PUNCH INFINITE JUGGLE! Quote
Gunbuster Posted December 22, 2005 Author Posted December 22, 2005 LOL! I can't believe you remember that! the guy difinitely did his homework on the fights Quote
Flaming Guantlet Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 DAMN! This has to be one the slikest use of sprites I ever seen. This guy definantly knew what he was doing when he made this. Bravo I say. Quote

areaseven Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 Goddammit! Ryu does NOT have a last name (or not that anyone knows of). "Ryu Hoshi" is taken from the lame live-action Street Fighter movie. Quote
JKeats Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 Both are pretty cool. Mad props to the sprites wizard, yo. Quote
Wesker99 Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 Pretty cool. I thought all the dodging was kinda lame, but it still took a crap load of work. Hat's off to the guy who made this. Seriously. I'd definitely watch more if he makes any. Quote

Cheapest victory ever. And if you were playing 2-player, you deserved every bruise you got while doing it. Quote
