Ressinut Posted September 30, 2003 Posted September 30, 2003 Hey everyone! First lemme say how cool it is to be involved with a bunch of good folks who love Macross as MUCH as I do! Ive been into Macross since it came to america in the 80s as ROBOTECH & Ive been hooked ever since. I have so many injection kits from all the series its not funny & just recently Ive started to get some of the "higher end" resin kits that are out there. My latest acquisition is Tanmen's Fanracer in 1/72 & I have to say....WOW!! what a nice little kit!! lotsa detail bits , very nice landing gear & a decent little figure of Hikaru! The kit is very well cast with almost no air bubbles or mold shifts to speak of! Ive been in the industry for a long time now & I can tell a good casting job when I see one!! Anyway, my question is this: I would love to really detail the heck outta this kit but am coming up kinda short on reference pics ( god knows all my books should have something but... nope) So I need everyones help ( who can spare the time for it thanks!) to let me know where I can get good sketches, Lineart, blueprints, color shots etc.... so that I can do this little guy justice! My modeling skills are more than up to just fudging it but I'd rather do it true to the artwork if I can. So PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE....If you can lend a a fellow model junkie a hand it would be tremendously appreciated!! Quote
phatslappy Posted September 30, 2003 Posted September 30, 2003 g'luck bro. With my skills, I'll be happy if mine still looks like the racer when I get done with it. Quote
