Take it apart. Use a brand new tube of crazy glue to stick the pieces back together. Use a clamp to hold the two pieces together, and let it cure for a day. Reassemble.

I used this method on my VF-11, and it is strong like the"Oak"

to Solscud007, Yes, I've checked them, but it seems like all things for 1/48, nothing for yf-19.

To Roy's Blues, thank u. But what is crazy glue ??? is this its exact name? You mean to stick the two broken blue parts together?

Crazy Glue, AKA Super Glue AKA cryanolate glue

View this as an opportunity, not a disaster. There used to be a thread about adding ball-bearing style hip joints on this toy and, IIRC, it made for a nice looking upgrade. Perhaps if you're already going to have to tinker here you should look into the feasibility of improving the toy by using this technique.

It's been a really long time since I saw the thread with the YF-19 ball-bearing hips but I think it was linked to a "how-to." Try doing a search and if you can't come up with it hopefully another member will remember where it was much better than I do and point you in the right direction. I do do a lot of drinking though so maybe my memory is just playing tricks on me.

Yes, you have been given a sign.... find the YF-19 ball jointed hip thread and set to work. Here's the link to the guy who did it first I think, good pics but Japanese text:

Go now and get to work. Get ball joints off of Hobbylink Japan.

Otherwise, jsut disassemble the leg and glue that bad boy on... from teh sue of the joint tho, I might suggest pinning it by drilling a rod thru the peg into the bar piece and epoxying it in place to make it stronger.

My friend he told me that he bought this YF-19 as a MISB toy, when he open the box he see that broken leg. Could that be a problem from the factory?

:o;) Hey, please help. There are so many ball joints in different sizes and by different manufactories in HLJ. Which one should I use to well fix my yf-19? I have no idea. ;)

Ask for help!!

Could be a problem from the factory but at this point it's moot. More than a few people complained that their Yamato Mac+ toy was crummy right from the box but Yamato isn't going to help you out unless you live in Japan and it's six years ago. Lemme see if I can't dig up some ball joint stuff for you.

Go here, you owe me a favor if you find what you're looking for :)

 Thank you jenius,

Pat S he used Wave and Kotobukiya's ball joints. But someone said that Yellow Sumbarine's joints are better than them. So I will try with Yellow Sumbarine's joints first.

Is this one I should buy exactly?
