David Hingtgen Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 Anyone have comments/experiences/hearsay about Sasugabooks or Animebooks.com? I'm looking for a few anime/artbooks and would like some opinions if possible. Speed, response, do they give tracking numbers, is their online stock current, etc. Thanks. Quote
MrDisco Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 i've ordered from animebooks when i first started collecting. they're alright though i find their prices to be high. if you have no other resort then you should be ok ordering from there. Quote
chrono Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 I've bought from Animebooks. They have a 'fair' level of service, but don't expect quick service. I've had orders take well over a full week to get shipped out. The prices are average in that while you'll get a discount it's not alot. But if your looking for older materials you'll have to use another place because they don't have much older stuff. Quote
Ghadrack Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 I ordered 25 manga issues at once last year from Sasuga they all listed as "in stock" on their site, but a week later when the package arrived there were 7 issues that were not in stock and they had to back order, which they did very quickly. I have no complaints about their speed or reason to doubt them, but ust be aware that their stock indicator "if they still have one" was out of date the last time i used their online store. They are a fairly reputable dealer, when i was searching around for advice on where to shop last year, Sasuga kept coming up over and over again. I will shop with them again. Quote
