MechTech Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Looks great! I think someone is single handedly keeping Hasegwa in business! Quote
cokefiend Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 I love them! Its great to see someone using their own colour combinations. Canon is great and all but I get tired of seeing the same stuff all the time. By the way, where did those awesome stands come from? Quote
Grayson72 Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 The stands come from a place that doesn't make them anymore. Quote
mojacko Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 those valks are fantastic....awesome work dude!!! Quote
Graham Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Very nice. I agree, it's always nice to see non-canon paint schemes. Graham Quote
kanata67 Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 (edited) Very nice.I agree, it's always nice to see non-canon paint schemes. Graham 353533[/snapback] you didn't say that about my non-cannon paint schemes... or was that because half the toy was spawn parts I like the green... I might have to do that to a few of my toys now... plagerism is the highest form of flattery Edited December 19, 2005 by kanata67 Quote
agr33 Posted December 19, 2005 Author Posted December 19, 2005 thanks for all the compliments guys ....i would love for you guys to post pix of some of your collections in this thread! for my next project i think i will do a VF-0B in a VF-1D paint scheme what do you guys think? Quote
Trigger Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 Is the VF-1D (VF-0B) a type trainer (T-45, T-38), or a conversion trainer (Like the F-15B/D, F-16B/D, F/A-18B and TAV-8B)? Quote
agr33 Posted December 20, 2005 Author Posted December 20, 2005 yeah the VF-1D is a trainer, but from what i understand the designation "B" has always meant "bomber" so i think the VF-0B is a bomber of some kind in the macross universe, while the vf-0D is the actual trainer in macross zero. hey, maybe it would be interesting to make a VF-0D in the VF-1D paint scheme i may just do that instead. c'mon guys please post some of your collections Quote
SebastianP Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 yeah the VF-1D is a trainer, but from what i understand the designation "B" has always meant "bomber" Wasn't there an official explanation for the purpose of the VF-0D that had nothing to do with conversion training? I think it had to do with reconnaissance/strike instead (like the F-15E) Traditionally, the first version of anything is called "A", the next "B" etc. For aircraft with twin-seat models being developed concurrently with the baseline singleseaters, this usually means that single- and twin seaters alternate through the alphabet. Then there are the exceptions made for "special" versions, most often exports. For instance, an "I" version of a US fighter is usually made for Israel, a "J" is a Japanese version, "K" and "M" (IIRC) are associated with the UK, etc. With that in mind, I'm inclined to believe the VF-0A came first, with the "S" being a direct development and the "B" being a conversion trainer. The "D" is a strike variant, and the "C" is a cancelled version of some sort, possibly a single-seater "D"... Or just something no one ever got around to drawing, but that's there in the background. Does any of this make sense? SP Quote
agr33 Posted December 20, 2005 Author Posted December 20, 2005 not sure , but it sounds impressive!!! Quote
agr33 Posted December 22, 2005 Author Posted December 22, 2005 i have always wanted to do a VF-0S in a TV MAX paint scheme so here it is. Quote
Grayson72 Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Cool man, hey can you take a picture of the entire flightline together? You know, all your Macross models together in one shot? Quote

Zinjo Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 (edited) The only question I have about the VF-0 Max Custom is why is the stripe behind the cockpit black instead of blue? It is a Max Custom after all... BTW, damn fine work on all the schemes! Edited January 3, 2006 by Zinjo Quote
