Black Valkyrie Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Has anybody seen Albegas? I know it would've been Voltron III in the west. 387135 I saw some episodes years ago, overall not bad and I remember the toy as Voltron-III, I almost bought the set back then. As for Fewture Getter no thanks too expensive Quote
Kin Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Has anybody seen Albegas? I know it would've been Voltron III in the west. 387135 lol saw it once as a seven year old kid.. I remember 3 robots piled on each other to form a bigger robot. ok, here's one i still couldn't find info about it. It's about a teenager who calls a big robot from a ... dimension and fight alien badguys who also control mecha. Remembering the mecha designs are like from 1980-1982. Anyone got a clue? Quote
Project Phoenix Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Without much info I'd say it must be Laserion you're talking about cuz' the hero summons a mecha from another dimension each episode and combines with it. Let me see if I can dig up a pic. Quote

wolfx Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Wow...that albegas is really fugly...even in illustration. XD Quote
JB0 Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 It also depends on when you bought the toys. The later releases had Dairugger as Voltron 2 and Albegas as Voltron 3. Quote
Extra Large Mumma Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 OverTechJunkie, do you have any more pics of the Mighty Orbots? The one you've got there is pretty cool. I used to watch that show every Saturday morning on ABC as well. Quote

Project Phoenix Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 (edited) For those of you who are SRW fans, the TV series will premier this Fall and it will feature Ryusei of the SRX team as the protagonist. Also, the PS2 version of SRW Original Generation game is coming out sometime this year. If and only if Atlus follows through with their release of the two GBA SRW games will possibly we see a release of the PS2 version. But I highly doubt it. JB0 Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 Dairugger AND Golion? I thought neither of those was popular enough to retro-merchandise. ... Not that I'm objecting, mind you... Quote
Extra Large Mumma Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 I'm going to order the Voltron kits jut for the artwork. Quote

Vermillion21 Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 My favourite is definitely Dairugger XV, aka. Vehicle Voltron!! Quote
wolfx Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 I don't think this deserves a new thread yet, but lookie here, a Super Robot show produced by Gainax. http://www.gurren-lagann.net/ Quote
rikiryou Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 O_o looks like a bad mix of everything mecha. It has Eureka's shoulderpads, it has Zanbot/Daitarn's head etc. Probably a parody thing of sorts, which is usually good fun. Quote
Fort Max Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Oh sweet ass, a super robot parody from Gainax could be awesome. With this, Marmorou Naganos Gothic Made and SRW:OG:TV there is plenty to look forward to for mecha fans. That Clamp mecha show with the Nirvarsh copy cat robot is allready all but forgotten by me and it hasn't even aired yet. Quote

OK i am not sure if my mind is embelishing things or this was real but i swear i remember a super, like Manzinger (Tranzor Z) but the little guy used a control box instead of sitting on/in his head in a pod. The original was black and white, and it's generally considered the first mech anime ever. It's been remade a time or 3, so there ARE color versions out there. Quote
