Based on what I found: Evolution Toy has revised the structure and materials of each joint in order to improve the overall mobility of the model. Metal is used in a good part of the robot and identified as Metal Action figure instead of under the Dynamite Action line. Quote

Aside from the Pose+ Metal Heat series, the prototype shown above is from CCS Toys. Here's some info that I found online regarding the CCS Toys figures: This release is essentially a perfect set that includes all three getters. They will be previewed at the Guangzhou CICF×AGF and the Shanghai Wonder Festival. Made of mixed materials (ABS, PVC, POM, DIECAST) they will be about 18 cm tall. They are the first models of the new line called Cheoljang (CCS plans to make all the robo getters). Are they the same as the Pose+ models? No, the Poseplus have a very high mobility functionality while these CCS plus accessories at a much lower cost! Edited October 3 by no3Ljm Quote
no3Ljm Posted October 3 Posted October 3 Another variant of Getter Robo was also on displayed at the WonderFest Shanghai 2024. SUPER ROBOT LEGEND GETER AKAONI by Iron Romance Workshop. Quote

I feel like this is a response to the Pose+ releases and CCS toys is trying to do a quick cash in. I really like CCS toys, like they have done some amazing figures, and it's unfortunate that I already bought into the Pose+ line. Very curious to see what the price point is for the set. Quote

Just for clarification, are you asking Daitarn's 40th Anniversary celebration figure or something like the recent announced GX-31SP Voltes V in conjunction of Chogokin's line 50th Anniversary edition instead? Meaning a re-release of GX-65 (w/SP) Daitarn3 under Chogokin's 50th Anniversary celebration, correct? If it is, I don't remember there was announcement of it. Maybe down the line? But if it's regarding Daitarn's 40th Anniversary, I believe GX-82 Daitarn3 F.A. was released back in 2018. Technically months after Daitarn's actual 40th celebration. Quote

I typoed and should've said 50th anniversary. Daitarn III is up on my list and I really enjoy the GX-31SP. I thought the shiny metal would look cheap, but it was done nice and it threw me back to the chrome from back in the day. Doesn't seem to be flaking/chipping/scratching like that old chrome, too. grundee Posted Saturday at 01:24 AM Posted Saturday at 01:24 AM (edited) Have anyone seen more details about the GX-117 yet? Just wondering what the difference is with GX-105. I hope it's a bit bigger, the 105 is so small! Edited Saturday at 01:24 AM by grundee Quote
lechuck Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Looks like GX-117 will have the elbow Drill Missile, Iron Cutter and Jet Pilder now. So essentially Bandai conned everyone into buying the poverty spec. version GX-105. Quote
