I know in the book Shoji Kawamori Design Works one of his Diaclone drawings is included. Hwever, I know nothing of that series so I can't tell you exactly what it is. I can scan it for you later today and post it up if you like?

shoji didn't really design the MP SS, he made some last minute changes to the design (which is a topic of great debate and teeth gnashing around here) but the bulk of the work was done by other folk at takara, as far as I know.

Looking at recent photographs, I can't believe the man is in his early 50's. I attribute it to pursuing his passion (designing mechs, trolling, etc) and enjoying his everyday work!

Kawamori also designed the GP-01 from Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory, though personally I'm not that fond of the design. The Core Fighter is one of the better looking ones though.
