magicsp00n Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 (edited) On my recent trip to Japan, I picked up a very nice in-box 1:40 Orgroid. It has a green cockpit, but I've seen some pictures online of them with a tan cockpit. Does anybody know if that's the only difference between the two versions, and if one is somehow more desirable than the other? Edited November 25, 2005 by magicsp00n Quote
Guppy Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 do mean the plastic cockpit bubble is tan, or the cockpit and pilot inside? Mine has a green bubble and tan cockpit and pilot underneath. Quote
magicsp00n Posted November 26, 2005 Author Posted November 26, 2005 Yeah, the bubble. ToyboxDX has pictures of the tan and green (evidently the visors are colored differently as well) versions here: http://www.toyboxdx.com/data/takatoku2/orguss1.html Quote
glane21 Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 The tan/amber visor and cockpit bubble are the earlier issues. They switched to green later when the Olson Orguss II version came into the line. It doesn't appear to affect the value of the toy either way and they appear to be identical otherwise. But I'd say the later issues had a different catalog included as well. Quote
