ghiblione Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 I got a resin kit of 1/4000 sdf-1 from Hobbyfan.com today. I'm so happy! But just a little question: The item comes with the kit, the instruction and a photo, but no box of the kit. This is my first time to buy a kit from Hobbyfan.com, I'd like to know is it normal that we don't have a box of kit? Quote
buddhafabio Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 you said it was a resin kit so one would assume it would be limited enough that a box could not be made or it is a recast model. Quote
Sar Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Isn't pretty much all Hobbyfan sells recasts? Quote
Penguin Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Isn't pretty much all Hobbyfan sells recasts? 345042[/snapback] That was my understanding, as far as resin kits go (they do sell other stuff, too). Although, all the models I've ordered came in little gray boxes with the parts, and instructions inside. Maybe the bag o' SDF-1 parts was too big for their standard-issue box. Quote

That's the reason? maybe it's true. Well. Thanks guys. Quote
Grayson72 Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 Yeah I wouldn't expect much fancy packaging with a recast. Quote
