WTH was the point of these cards?  And why'd they change the number on the chest to 3?

during the 1980's when the Cabbage Patch Kids were popular they made these trading cards as a spoof on them, that is why the have cabbage Patch style faces

Wow, I had both of those cards, and it didn't dawn on me that it was a GBP valk until now.

Funny how they chose the 1A-style single laser, instead of 2 lasers.

Ha ha I have the whole set of them somewhere in my loft. I`d forgotten about them. gonna have to find them now. My mum also thought they were the tools of the devil.

Can anyone remember why these were so popular? I remember being involved with the craze, but I have no idea why.

I hated cabbage patch kids, so for me it was to piss off the likes of my sister and anyone else who owned them. The chewing gum was also a deadly weapon if you threw it at someone... or ate it.
