Burn Posted September 28, 2003 Posted September 28, 2003 (edited) Just ordered Battlecry from eBay and I don't even have my PS2 yet. Where can I find the cheat codes to enable all mecha in versus mode so I can start kicking ass right away? PS: No RT bashing please, I just want a quick answer, pleez? yellowlightman Posted September 28, 2003 Posted September 28, 2003 http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/code/14630.html I dunno if it's possible to unlock everything with a code, but be warned it takes quite a while to do it using the game. I bought the game in October sometime and just finally got around to unlocking everything this summer. <_< Quote
JB0 Posted September 29, 2003 Posted September 29, 2003 Just ordered Battlecry from eBay and I don't even have my PS2 yet. Where can I find the cheat codes to enable all mecha in versus mode so I can start kicking ass right away? PS: No RT bashing please, I just want a quick answer, pleez? I suppose it's a little late, but Fry's Electronics/www.outpsot.com has the game for 10$. Quote
myk Posted September 29, 2003 Posted September 29, 2003 Don't you wanna' earn all of that mecha? Quote
yellowlightman Posted September 29, 2003 Posted September 29, 2003 Don't you wanna' earn all of that mecha? Bleh, it's just a pain in the ass. Replaying boring levels to kill 500 battle pods, that's not fun. Quote
hellohikaru Posted September 29, 2003 Posted September 29, 2003 Not 500 battlepods but N-Ger i think.(Male Power Armor you Robotechies). Anyway that Stealth scheme that looks cool...like a Hikaru but black. Not worth the effort though as it has no stealth only cool. Might as well play it to get the Skull leader scheme. Quote
terry the lone wolf Posted September 29, 2003 Posted September 29, 2003 The best thing for you is to use the code to unlock all the levels. That way if one level is to rough for you can skip it and come back to it. You still have to earn all the veritechs but you can get any Veritech in any order. Also on the game's tutorial there is a code to make you invincable throughout the game. Roy teaches you the basics of the fighter mode. There'll be a part where you'll be fighting 6 robot fighters. Three'll be unarmed and three will be. Destroy all six and quickly exit to the menu and the zentradies can't harm you. You'll know when to exit when Roy congratulates you. Quote
Burn Posted September 30, 2003 Author Posted September 30, 2003 It's not that I don't wanna earn the mecha, it's more for the versus mode so I can have the Q-Rau duke it out with an Armored Valk. But hey, I can have one savegame with all mecha and one for the campaigns... Quote
terry the lone wolf Posted September 30, 2003 Posted September 30, 2003 Nah, there's one cheat for the mecha and one for the missions. You can't combine them. Yeah, that really bites... Quote
CAG Posted September 30, 2003 Posted September 30, 2003 I'm a rather mediocre video gamer and I was able to unlock everything in about a month and a half/two months time. And the pain in the ass was sniping 50 MPAs. Quote
Stampeed Valkyrie Posted September 30, 2003 Posted September 30, 2003 If you have the PS2 version there are codes to do everything including unlock all the mecha. Along with the "bug" cheat that allows you to be invulnerable. If your still looking for them PM me and I'll send them to you. Sorry dont have them right now cause I am stuck at work. Rob Quote

Hint: Fully charged in sniper mode: Enter sniper mode, then hold Fire to charge. Once fully charged, exit sniper mode while holding Fire. The next time you want to go into sniper mode, hold Fire as you change to that view. You will now have a fully charged weapon the moment you change into sniper mode. Hint: Using missiles on the fly: Most of the time using the battloid mode is useful for counter-missile efforts. However, with some practice you can learn to switch to jet or guardian (works either way), immediately fire a volley of missiles, then switch back to battleoid. This allows you to launch a strong assault while keeping missiles off your back. Hint: Quicker missile targeting: Missiles do not take that many shots to detonate. A useful trick is to use short bursts of fire (releasing and pressing Secondary Fire rapidly and quickly). This gives you more of a chance to eliminate a lot of missile volleys in a much shorter time. Hint: Knifes Edge: To complete this level easy, get directly under Sckarred's feet and keep shooting. Information in this section was contributed by bobby stiles. Glitch: Use The Super Veritech armor anywhere: It is possible to use the Super Veritech Armor during ground combat. First, successfully complete any space mission with the Super Veritech Armor. Then, choose "Continue" when the level is complete. Since it is not possible to change armors this way, the armor remains Super Veritech. Note: This can only be used for the next level that has not yet been completed. Information in this section was contributed by Jeff Sima. Glitch: Floating Veritech: In the Train Depot versus level, have one player stand on one of the smoke columns. Then, have the other player shoot it out from under them in sniper mode. The column will collapse, and the player standing on it will float in midair. Do not shoot the player on top.
