maxjr Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 Hi, I've been doing Gundam models for over 3 years now and decided to try something different. This is my first try on an aircraft model. Hasegawa's quality is not as good as Bandai's. Most parts don't fit very well. cockpit + seat detailing. I added photo etched seat belts, ejection handles. I used some styrene stripes to fill the gaps around the head area. Thanks to wm cheng, his idea of using magnets to attach the fast packs to the legs is great! Here is what I have done so far, still a long way to go. I will try to update it when I have time. Quote

May be Hasegawa are in league with the Filler and Primer manufacturers all those little bit that need finishing all that filler used, must earn them a few pennies. Quote
Grayson72 Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 For some reason Hasegawa's quality on this particular model wasn't great, the fit sucked. The VF-1's on the other hand are very high quality. Quote
