areaseven Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 From Tony Scott (Top Gun, True Romance) comes Domino, loosely based on the true story of a supermodel who became a bounty hunter. Anyone here (other than Keira Knightley fans) gonna watch it when it comes out? Domino Quote
Isamu Atreides 86 Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 Keira is pretty hot, so yeah, i'll be checking it out. Quote
JB0 Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 I dunno... It looks like it'll be interesting. But on the other hand, it also looks like it'll be the "neat idea, steaming crap of an execution" kind of interesting. Quote
Wesker99 Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 It looks like one of the few movies coming out that could be interesting. I'd watch it. Quote
areaseven Posted October 15, 2005 Author Posted October 15, 2005 Domino is now showing in theaters. But it looks to be a major stinker, as RottenTomatoes.com has it listed as 12%. So unless you like Keira Knightley, save your money for another movie. I'll be watching Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit instead. Quote
yellowlightman Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 Man on Fire was excellent. Aside from Scott's great cinematography and editing, Domino looks completely uninteresting. Quote
Wesker99 Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 I thought it looked good, but that 12% turns me off. Oh well. Quote
EXO Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 I'm hoping to check it out.... Kiera Knightly + guns. And like YLM said, Man on Fire was really good. I heard this one is getting bad reviews though. Quote
Desram Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 I was really hoping that Micky Rourke could be in 2 good movies in a row. I just feel sorry for the guy. Quote
Mr March Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 (edited) I find myself enjoying the scathing reviews of this film more than anything else. I doubt I'll enjoy the film. I have a friend who wants to see this film for god knows what reason, so I'll no doubt be in tow. I'll probably end up counting this flick as yet another reason for this year's floundering box office. Edited October 17, 2005 by Mr March Quote
bigkid24 Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 Well, maybe they should play up the fact that you can see naked parts of Keira. At least that's what I hear. Quote
