wm cheng
Hey will they release a version with both the parts and a VF-1J? or do we have to purchase them separately?
Fortress_Maximus
For now separately, but honestly for the price of one GBP they might as well include a 1/48. After everything is done involving shipping to the US it'll cost closer to 200 than any of us care to admit AND w/o a VF. IMO something is quite wrong when we many of us consider this acceptable. BoBe-Patt
they better make a giftset!! I needs me one of those vf-1J's!
Fortress_Maximus
I agree BBP, question is how much will they deal for it?
Valk-1S
they better make a giftset!! I needs me one of those vf-1J's!    328143 There may not be a giftset at all. That's why there are reissuing the VF-1J with it in December.
Deimos
heads up again ! evilbay has pre-order for GBP ! http://cgi.ebay.com/Macross-1-48-VF-1-Seri...1QQcmdZViewItem but the description very interesting : "this item will be available for shipping within 30 days from the date of purchase" ???? does it mean once I paid for it I need to wait for only 30 days for the GBP ? I think it's the same guy who did it for the CF as well.

Ignacio Ocamica
they better make a giftset!! I needs me one of those vf-1J's!    328143 There may not be a giftset at all. That's why there are reissuing the VF-1J with it in December. 328149 I think there may not be a giftset too. With the price of the GBP parts alone, a giftset is going to be quite expensive! I don't think Yamato wants a $ 200+ item warming the shelves. It sucks big time for the people that don't have a Hikaru VF-1J and want to put the GBP on it. U$S 130 for Hikaru + U$S 125 for GBP parts = U$S 255 + shipping!! I don't have a VF-1J (don't like it in 1/48, I prefer the 1/60) but I'm gona put a GBP on a VF-1S Focker and another on a CF
obakesan
The GBP is on Yamatos website now. Same pictures are on there that have been seen before, but slightly large I think. see it here http://www.yamato-toys.com/items/detail.php?gid=796 Cheers,
Uxi
Wow, that thing looks... bulky. But that's what we should expect when you try to turn a VF-1 into a Destroid.

1/1 LowViz Lurker
Nice pics. I especially like the look of those hands. Will await reviews before making any decisions though. I wonder how massive the box will be? I've noticed that they never show it wearing the armor with missile covers open. eming
Expect the box to be roughly the same size as the 1/48 boxes... huge-mon-gus...
connor99
Expect the box to be roughly the same size as the 1/48 boxes...huge-mon-gus... 328577 *uses a sarcastic voice* Maybe the reason why we're getting screwed on the price ? Damn YAMATO bastids !
eming
ha ha... Even if Yamato decided to sell the anime hands as a separated set they would most probably package them in boxes the size of the 1/48...
alvaro
Also the Zinc Panic Radar says the GBP will be released in December http://www.zincpanic.com/radar.phtml Maybe HLJ is right. If Yamato say DECEMBER, sure we will get the toy in February. 327114 dream toy finally reaching. unbelievable price!!! almost same to 1/48 valks. my guess is dec for HK, ship to JP is Feb. valks release always like that
Fortress_Maximus
I'm not expecting this before the end of the year, but it's ok since I can wait.
