JB0
no flame thrower=no fun 324951[/snapback] Seconded. Seriously, I find the Robosapien more interesting than the Roboraptor. Though I've been seeing the raptors in stores for some time now.
Knight26
Seems like another overpriced lame robo-toy, I'll pass.
Project Phoenix
Let me know when it comes standard with eye lasers. Maybe then I'll pick it up.

F360°
bahh.. it's all about Wifi, blue tooth, and USB ports.
UN_MARINE
Meh. If I had to spend on a robot toy, it'd have to be one of those $500 mini fighting robots at least they can DO kung fu
Greyryder
I must not be geeky enough. I go for small radio controlled tracked vehicles. Now, if I could just figure out how to fit a working pellet gun into the turret of a 1/35 scale tank....

HWR MKII
Ill be sure to see how well that raptor stands up to my R/C tracked vehicle soon Some kid around here keeps running his in the street and i almost ran it 3 times. Next time it out its going to meet tiger tank V2.0 . The thing is floppier in real life than the commercial lets on.

He needs taking down a notch.

Personally, I think you're all too greedy. I'd be happy with a dog-sized ED-209 (from Robocop fame) that just walks around, growls at the pets, and occasionally fall down stairs and starts squealing and flailing about. chrono
I'd be easy, if I was fully trained in electronics, to add a pair of 'pen' laser to it and maybe a 'real' flame breath weapon. I would add a small Ipod to it and set it up to ID specific people and play certain types of music when it 'saw' them. Or set it up to roam the office and play annoying music when people are standing around in some areas. I'd get one if it had a MechaGozilla conversion for it though!! Wesker99
Did anyone else notice that at least in the add it was "roaring" with sounds from the original doom? I think that's a buying point. But I have a real dog, and don't feel the need for a robot raptor.
UN_MARINE
how about checking if it's BB proof ? anybody got an RC tank that can shoot 'em ?
HWR MKII
Tiger V1.5 is a bb shooting one Tiger 1.0 has been parted out though. The BBs wouldnt do much damage though they bounce off me at 3 feet away and i dont feel them
UN_MARINE
that's cool ! I actually have one of those 1/24 taiwan-made BB shooting Leopard A2's. I had to replace the barrel to get it to shoot better, but it's still mostly 'child-safe' I'd get a one of these robosapien things to shoot at, but they're pretty expensive over here, & for just target practice an old beat-up model is still a better & cheaper target
HWR MKII
I use my T-34 for BB testing Id use the raptor for climbing testing. My wife wants one for christmas hehe
