Bob_Coffee Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 I Must haveeeee ittttt MY PREEEECCCCIOUSSS!.=D all in all, its looking damn good, i see no real faults with the perportioning or anything, at this stage it looks even better than our beloved 1/48 VF-1. But if possible, i would love to see yamato give the 0S perfect grade style hands(Chicken hands or not), i want indevisual jointed fingers so my 0S can flip off all my other toys. and please can we get an SV-51 to go along side with this. ruskiiVFaussie Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 haha a mecha flipping the bird to his lesser creations.. we can only dreammmm what about a custom job? Quote
Mr March Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 Great pictures, but a larger scan would be nice. Whoa, I just noticed the wings in battroid mode. I think they ARE overlapping somewhat. Not as much as the lineart and CG models in the Macross Zero series, but there is definitely something of an overlap when the wings are folded. This is cool. Quote
Dobber Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 BEAUTIFUL!!!!! 1 for me definately, then I'll just have to wait to see what comes after! Chris Quote
vlenhoff Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 Hmmm... I'll get 3 if I can. That's one fat bird... fat because it's eating all my money. God, please remind Yamato that we're not rich... but smooth.. (: V!C Quote
vlenhoff Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 Can someone explain to me why is this scan so incerdibly SMALL? Can anyone PLEASE scan this a bit larger. Just a bit... Just a BIT larger... V!C Did I say please? Quote
Graham Posted October 22, 2005 Author Posted October 22, 2005 What magazine is that scan from? From the page layout, it looks like 'Figure Oh'. If yes, what issue number is it please? I'll try to pick it up on my return to HK and post a larger scan. Graham Quote
aaajin Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 I take back my words. On a second look, the VF-0S does look badass...prolly the camera angle was not right when the pics were taken, making it looks a lil bit "awkward" on the legs and the antennas Quote
JLYC Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 (edited) not bad at all!! however...from the pics both the battroid and fighter don't look as anime-accurate as the VF-1 toys i'm gonna wait for the yamato and hasegawa vf-1 battroids to come out before deciding whether to go with the toy or models. Edited October 24, 2005 by JLYC Quote
connor99 Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 And here I thought the 1/48 GBP is going to be the one to complete my own collection! I'll pick up one of these though, would look really nice right next to a 1/48 VF-1S and a CMS Fokker figure . Quote
Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0 Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 Beautiful! I am so glad the 1/100 never made it out, this simply BLOWS IT AWAY! The head lasers seem a bit long to me but who cares? Theres a freaking TAIL HOOK! That my friends, scores points in my book, I love the touch of realism here, and I of course love naval planes as well. And being that we see a limited amount of liveries on there, let us hope that every graphic logo we see now like the skulls and UN kite are tampo printed onto the production toys!(Hey they were on the 1/48!...well except the fueselage kite but hey it was something!) VF-0S FAN Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 Hey Yamato! My birthday is on March 31st and I want my present before its offficial release date Quote
Anubis Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 Very impressive effort. My wallet will cry though. I'll pick up one though. Quote

Project Phoenix Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 (edited) Holy Moley! I can even see the Fast Pack attachment points on this baby's arms! I hope that stand won't come standard to prop it up. Edited October 29, 2005 by Project Phoenix Quote
Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0 Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 It would be pretty neat for the cockpit seat to swivel in battroid mode but so far no confirmation. That would have to involve some sort of hinge to keep it in place in fighter, and a release to let it swivel and possibly a weight to keep it in place in battroid. I am all for it but given the small area within the cockpit I doubt they would implement it not to mention it would not be that visible(since the shield would cover the canopy), nonetheless its these small details that make it alll the more awesome! And I cannot wait! So what if its 1/60 it will still be bigger than a 1/55, and I can pretend its 1/55!! Quote
Black Valkyrie Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 A fatty Battroid , in some way it does look like 1/55. Quote
Project Phoenix Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 It's for the Gunpod man. 340498[/snapback] Doesn't hurt to dream. Quote
zeo-mare Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 awesome I cannot wait for this to come out. chris Quote

kensei Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 Crap. Oh well. Just hope the coversion rate is favourable. Quote
emajnthis Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 that's crazy expensive! It would probably be wise to see if there are any problems that plague the first wave before going nuts w/purchases. Quote
emajnthis Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 well, true considering the relative size and goodies included, but overall, it's still a pretty big investment. Quote
eugimon Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 meh... I dunno.. my vf-1a 1/48 hikaru (1st edition) had the tightest joints and the best seams out of all of the 1/48's I own... sure the landing gear doors are a paint to use and the nose cone falls off every now and then... I'm not really worried.. I'm going to get at least one but probably two. Quote
