Hurin
The patron saint of Southern Cross threads is officially running for President. At first, I thought it was an elaborate hoax site. But, apparently, it's real. . . Walken for President
Hikuro
YES! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED! W00t! I'm voting for him everyone else step aside or he'll stop ya in the face with a saudering iron and rip your angelic heart from your chest! Jolly Rogers
His first order of business when elected... more cowbell, baby! 320120 No, his first order of business would be to rename the White House to The Continental. Hurin
I must have been away for too long, when was the ban on politics posts lifted at MW? 320115 We're not exactly debating hardcore issues here or even his stance on them. And if someone starts in with real politics where Walken is concerned, I'm sure this thread will be (appropriately) closed. H
JsARCLIGHT
I think if we turn this into a Christopher Walken appreciation thread then it will be just fine and Officially Schwarzenegger... I mean... dandy. I love Christopher Walken. He not only rocks but he can improve any movie he is in in my eyes. I love him the most in cameo roles like Pulp Fiction and Sleepy Hollow. JsARCLIGHT
If it is for real all the man has to do is run Fatboy Slim's "Weapon of Choice" video as his commercial spots. Boffo.
Skull Leader
That would be all it took for me to vote for him. The man is a pimp.
Hurin
Hurin, are you sure this isn't a hoax? 320128 One of my friends (who does a perfect Walken impression) sent this to me on Thursday. I thought it was a joke too. . . but wasn't 100% positive because there are just some odd things that make you think: "Wait a minute! This might be for real!" But, it's now being reported on Instapundit. . . so unless he's in on it (or has been taken in by it), it's real. It could still turn out to be fake. I'm not vouching for it. But at this point, I think it might very well be real. Even though I see some of those pictures and think: "No way!" Wes
who's Chris Walken? (I'm serious) 320142 Leave. Now. Seriously, though, the website gives a few of the movies he's in. He's an actor, but a good one. I'd definitely rather have him over Hillary (I can't have her taking over the world before me... ) but who knows what his political ideology will be, or even if this is real, at this point? EDIT: Yeah, sorry guys, for some odd reason Windows wants to save pictures sometimes as bitmaps, which no other program IN THIS FREAKIN' WORLD wants to accept. Keith
Considering Christopher Walken apparently owns a whole row of buildings inside the Macross, this is quite on topic.
dr_vandermeer
This pleases me greatly. Only Walken can get us to the furthest reaches of space. Edited August 14, 2005 by dr_vandermeer

Guppy
Walkens' the coolest. But judging by the photos on the site I reckon it's a hoax. They all look like old file pics from his casting agency. If I was an american, I'd vote for him too!

Agent ONE
I can't believe you guys don't see this as a joke, ALL the pictures are taken straight from web searches, IMDB or out of movies (some of those pictures are or CW, 20 years ago). ALL the issues that are talked about are the talking points of angry liberals, no serious conteder for Prez would use those talking points, they sound more like a pot head protestor on the street corner. Briareos
We're heading into dangerous territory with this political talk. It's best just talking about Walken and not about left or right sides of the political spectrum or this thread might get locked up.
